"What an adorable little cabin. Clean and well stocked. The water was shallow off the dock but we were able to use the paddle boards and kayaks provided to paddle out into the deeper water and do some fishing. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. This cabin is highly rated for a reason. Would definately recommend."

"Where to begin? We spent this Labour Day long weekend at Carol’s cottage and it was absolutely amazing. The cottage is exactly what we expected and more! We arrived Friday night, and took full advantage of the sun porch, the fairy lights were a nice touch and we were excited for next day! On Saturday, we explored Sharbot’s Lake and the farmers market where we bought local maple syrup before heading to the grocery store. "Many reviews substantiate that Bedford Lake House is a 5 star property. Check-in, Facilities, Wi-fi, all first class. For our three-generation family of 7 including two young girls of 5 and 7 what made our stay so special. First, the view from the cottage over Devil Lake, the sunsets were amazing. Second, the flower and vegetable garden - where are young girls filled their buckets every day with ripe tomatoes, cabbage, carrots, peppers, beans, herbs, strawberries, beets .. the list goes on....

It was extremely hot outdoors in the sun but the shade from the trees, roofed back deck over looking the lake, two gazebos and enjoying the lake kept us comfortable and the multi-zone heat pump with indoor units in each room kept us cool inside. "The dock and water was spectacular and exactly what we wanted. The cottage had everything we needed and worked for 5 adults. The loft has quite low ceilings and the bathroom in the loft has no privacy but otherwise the property was fantastic. The BBQ, AC and wifi worked well. Scott was easy to communicate with. A lovely cottage and area."

"The stone cottage had a nice view of the lake, a fire pit, big tables for games and meals with family. Very relaxing and quiet. The loons on the lake were close by--loved their calls to each other! It was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. If you have little children, the outdoor patio has a drop off that you would need to use caution with. We would definitly recommend this place. "

"There are a few awkward places to step, like by the bbq corner of deck, not a lot of room for error, very easy to misstep and fall off the deck and land on the stairs. And getting from the land onto the dock, had be careful not to slip with the gap. But other than those minor things to be aware of, the cottage was wonderful.
