"The staff here are fantastic - friendly, welcoming and actively helpful. The detail in the cleaning let it down a notch; and arriving at 1.30am, there was no time or energy to raise it. (Hair and a random used bottle cap on the bathroom floor.) Very comfortable bed, nice and quiet, good breakfast (though coffee indifferent)."

"What an absolutely wonderful place! We only stayed one night but wish we had found this gem sooner. Lovely couple. Beautiful area. Bunratty Castle and Durty Nellys were right down the road. The breakfast was fantastic. The bread was fresh baked. The porridge was delicious."

"Dinner closes extremely early. And nowhere around will deliver or is even open. For the hotels restaurant to close so early and they don’t offer room service or have a little store inside to get refreshments was disappointing. We got in late with 3 kids and they were hungry and we had little snacks thank goodness but finally found a pizza place that usually doesn’t deliver that far but did for us. We tipped them well but were disappointed the hotel didn’t have anything to accommodate their guest...

"The whole hotel was very rundown and sad. It smelled like stale bar smoke. The room had hair on the bed along with worn out and sandpaper rough linens. The shower door was hanging off its track. There was mold in the corners and the carpet stunk. It felt like a you hostel more than a hotel. "

"Great location. The owner was the absolute nicest man ever and his knowledge of the area and surrounding areas was top notch. The internet connection for the tv buffered from time to time, but seriously- who cares? I hated having to leave. "

"One of the most beautiful rooms / homes I have ever stayed in. Felt like I was staying at a historic home that I was viewing on a tour. Bedroom was spectacular, bathroom was large and luxurious, and the breakfast was delicious! We wished we got there earlier to just hang out and enjoy the property. Would 100% stay here again. The host was also very kind and accommodating, especially at breakfast! Anyways can’t recommend this place enough. A+ Ps very close to rock of cashel 👍"

"Everything was safe and great. It had a cozy, homey feel. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and even waited for us to arrive late to check if we needed any assistance. The breakfast was delicious. For just 8 euros, it’s an unbeatable deal. The parking area was conveniently located. "

"O hotel é muito bom em sua estrutura física. Serviço atencioso embora no bar à noite a gente fique com a sensação que estão com pressa para terminarmos a refeição. Não gostei de ver as bandeiras dos países (Canadá, EUA e Irlanda) rasgadas na frente do hotel e, no dia em que chegamos a porta da frente estava quebrada. O ponto bem negativo foi que a noite estávamos com calor e como não conseguia ligar o ar condicionado, tentei ligar para recepção mas o telefone do quarto estava estragado......

"Truly amazing stay. Every single member of staff delivered customer service that was world class. Nothing was too much trouble. Food in the restaurant was fantastic. As was breakfast. And a quick lunch in Mikey Ryan’s. Rooms were fabulous. And the spa treatments were out of this world. Shame the Irish weather meant I only lasted a few mins in the outside bit of the pool but that didn’t take the gloss off an amazing stay. We will be back!"
