"It’s been at least about eight years since I’ve stayed here at this hotel. The hotel and property grounds itself is nice to look at… however on my first night there, there was a humongous roach crawling around the floor in our room and also there was someone’s eyelash that was stuck to one of the pillows which was kind of disgusting to look at unfortunately. "I stayed at this place so I could attend the Innings Festival over the weekend. I went alone — I’m a backpacker, I usually travel solo, and I have never experienced any kind of discrimination for that until I stayed here. The staff were extremely xenophobic and misogynistic toward me, questioning everything from whether I was Mexican to whether my credit card was REALLY valid, insinuating that I was there trying to scam the property.
