"We booked a pet-friendly room as we were looking after a dog for a family member during a wedding event. The room had a patio door which led directly outside, which was extremely helpful taking the dog out during the night. The room was basic, but clean."

"The room was neat and tidy. There was a microwave and frig in the room and lots of towels. The day before we left, they were busy cleaning up the yard. The owners have done a lot of work in the last few years improving the property."

"Room was clean and very impressed with the room. Room rate was great but definitely won’t be paying the July /August rates….very overpriced for that time. Couple complaints, fridge gurgled a lot and when furnace ran it was like a rocket taking off….very loud. Was quite surprised with the appliances based on the hotel being very new!!"

"The room was great, clean and updated. Unfortunately the property was under renovations which affected the breakfast area and the spa/pool area. We didn’t know this until we checked in. Staff were apologetic and did their best under the circumstances. Bagged breakfasts were provided - nice touch. "

"The room was very nice - large and well appointed. The bed was really comfortable. We had a lovely continental breakfast in the morning and were able to sit in the dining room overlooking the bay. Staff was excellent. My only concern was with poor lighting in the parking lot and I did pass that along in the morning. We came in later in the evening and it was very difficult to see where we were walking. Probably not an issue in the busy season when the restaurant is open and people are out...

"Clean and friendly staff"

"You get what you pay for - a basic room. Check in was easy and the staff were nice. Cons were that the noise bleeds heavily from the road out front and the hallways. I couldn't turn off the porch light either and the light really comes through the blinds. There was also a spat between other patrons at about 1am (that can't really be blamed on the motel) but it was quite loud and kept me awake. There is no box spring either and the mattress was a bit thin so my back was a bit sore in the...
