"It was as expected for the price, and close to my training with a little shopping and coffee close by. This is needed because the rooms are built for rest and relaxation. However, it was clean enough, adequate water pressure, parking directly in front of my room, quiet during my stay and I was only there for two nights. I wouldn’t think all rooms are as adequate and they definitely need more renovation but adequate for what I needed."

"If you can get through the smell of marijuana and people yelling down the hallway, pounding on doors from midnight until 1 AM, you will find yourself in a room that was in disrepair. There were no plug-ins in the bathroom, half the lighting worked, there were stains on the main door and headboards of the beds, a broken chair at the desk, and water damage on the wall by the main window. The positive is that even though the beds were small, they were comfortable, and there was a nice 55-inch TV....

"This is the second time we have stayed at the Grand Dunes. We were there one year ago, liked the property and returned this year. It had an old time style from the lobby to the rooms. This year we found the room to be quite neglected. The items we noted were as follows: The shower door would not close and had about a 6" gap. The iron had the pointed end broken completely off. "Staff very friendly and helpful"

"My second visit in a month, this time with my wife. Everything was really excellent the staff is really friendly and helpful especially Kayla, if your lucky enough to have her working when you're there she will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. They keep the place really clean. One thing we noticed though at the smoking area in the back of the hotel there's a door to the upstairs steps that did not have a card lock for customers staying at the hotel and was unlocked and open."

Room was humid even with the air conditioner set to auto cool so much so that after we got back to the room after 5 hours my sweatshirt I had hanging was damp as was the carpet. It just felt gross. Pillows had an odor and staff swapped them out quickly. Breakfast had a nice selection. Staff was friendly. Expedia sold a room that wasn’t available and instead of a queen we got two full beds so with that sticky room that was not good. Hotel and room...

"Very nice overnight stay. The room was clean and the view was beautiful. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The only drawback was the busy elevators. But there were a lot of guests, so we just had to be patient. But we would definitely stay here again."
