"The Woods Edge was the perfect getaway my brother and I were looking for. My dad is turning 84 and we wanted to give him a relaxing weekend in the high country. This place is accessible to everywhere…Boone and it’s great selection of restaurants, Banner Elk/Linville and it’s great waterfalls and hikes, Vilas and it’s perfect setting for eating ice cream at Mast by the stream. Super clean and comfortable. A big thank you to Cynthia and Olen for a great weekend!"

"The cottage was just as the pictures, super clean and so nice! We enjoyed spending lots of time on the deck taking in the amazing view! "More difficult to get to since hwy. 58 closed at Damascus. Pretty drive taking the long way. Too bad the Virginia creeper trail closed, I was able to go down until the first washed out bridge at green cove. Enjoyed the quiet stay."

"Our church group had a great time at the cabin. It is definitely large enough for 30 people with plenty of parking spots. Definitely recommend for those looking to go as a large group. Plus location is great as it is very close for things skiing or sledding. "

"Had a great stay at this very adorable cabin! It’s clean and so well decorated! Had such a quiet and peaceful stay! Only problem we had was the driveway. They had rock recently put down and my car couldn’t get up the driveway. Other than that it was an awesome cabin and we will definitely stay again!"
