"We had a really good stay at this property. It’s located in the small town of Shady Spring, which was quiet and peaceful, but still a great location overall. The house is about 10 minutes north of Winterplace Ski Resort, which made it perfect for our ski trip, and about 15 minutes south of Beckley where you can find everything you need—restaurants, groceries, and shopping.The host was great and answered all of our questions quickly, which made the stay smooth and stress-free. "This was a great property for our family (with small kids and a dog) for a long weekend to New River Gorge NP. The house was well equipped for us all. The kitchen had all the basics needed, a small charcoal grill on the deck, a firepit with firewood, a restaurant style highchair for our 1yr old, basketball game and foosball table for the 5yr old, basic supplies like dishsoap, laundry soap, papertowels, tp and whatnot.
