Welcome to The Peaks View Chalet, a modern custom built home nestled in the picturesque wilderness of Seward, Alaska. The two-story windows bring the outdoors into the comfort of this charming chalet. The home is situated in a new construction area within an up-and-coming neighborhood. A mix of tiny homes and modern builds are nearby, reflecting Seward’s evolving charm and close-knit, respectful community. The neighborhood offers a relaxed, down-to-earth vibe that embraces individuality and the spirit of Alaskan living.

Be prepared for rugged terrain mixed with eclectic trailers, tiny homes, and new builds - a truly Alaskan experience - as well manicured lawns and HOA subdivisions are not typical in Alaska.

Please note: This is a “free range” dog neighborhood, where neighbor dogs will visit the property, we are not responsible for them, but they are nice and most enjoy saying hi, or playing fetch. Just tell them to “go home” when you’re tired of them.


The Chalet is nestled on 1 acre of property. In the late summer there is a hillside of blueberries to forage for.



Peaks View Chalet offers a spacious upstairs master suite featuring a king bed and an en-suite spa bathroom, complete with a luxurious steam shower. Downstairs, you’ll find a second bedroom with a queen bed and a well-appointed three-quarter bathroom.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas range and high-end appliances, ideal for preparing meals after a day of exploring. A cozy pellet stove adds golden warmth on cooler nights, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Relax in the large soaking tub or steam shower with locally crafted artisan bath products. In-home laundry facilities are also available for your convenience. The home has huge windows that look on to the neighboring property. Heads up that this view includes a mix of eclectic trailers and rugged terrain!

Just five miles away from, historic downtown Seward invites you to discover its unique shops, excellent restaurants, and local culture. **An additional air mattress is available and suitable for 2 kids. Eye masks are provided to block Alaskan summer light. A pack n' play travel crib along with waterproof crib mattress sheets are provided as well.

A vehicle is recommended for travel to and from Peaks Chalet and local taxi recommendations can be provided. There is also a Hertz car rental location in town. Arrivals to Seward can also be via the Alaskan Railway but a local taxi would be needed to and from the property. During the summertime, a local trolley is available throughout downtown Seward.
