Scenic Smokies Cabin Getaway

Ready to get back out there and travel again? We are OPEN! Featherwinkle Cabin is located in a secluded resort with family friendly amenities and a pool that is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck and take in the views of the mountains! Even though we are in a quiet setting, we are very convenient to all of the area's attractions! Dollywood is 10 minutes away, Ober Gatlinburg is 20 minutes away, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance is 20 minutes away. Our beautiful home away from home sits at the end of a culdesac and offers everything you need for a perfect vacation! We are 4 miles from the Parkway, so close to it all yet far enough away to be very quiet! A ramp brings you onto the wrap around porch and right up to the front door. Step into the vaulted, open living area with hardwood floors, granite countertops, and all the appliances you need. The 2 bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen) and 2 full bathrooms are also on the main floor so you never have to climb a staircase to access the living spaces. Upstairs in the spacious loft is a game room with a pool table, DVD player and board games. There is an extra queen bed and futon for additional sleeping options. From the loft, you can step out onto a private deck to escape it all. Downstairs on the porch you can relax in the hot tub or in the rocking chairs. There is a gas grill available for preparing your favorite meals. Make this your next favorite vacation spot!

Summer get away

The cabin we rented was great! The owner communicated to see how things were going and to make sure we had no problems. I would highly recommend renting not only the cabin but from this owner. Thank you for sharing your cabin!!

Anniversary Trip

Just came back from our 20th anniversary weekend and the cabin was wonderful. It was exactly as described. The master bed was very comfortable. The living room was very cozy. Enjoyed playing some pool upstairs. Rohit was very easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions I had.

Comfortable stay in Sevierville

This cabin home was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend - plenty of dishes, silverware, gas grill, and even a Keurig as well as a traditional coffee pot. The beds were comfortable. The jacuzzi was soothing. This place is only about a 15 minute drive to Dollywood, so it was also convenient.

Great cabin off the beaten path

Cabin is great if you want to be a little bit removed from the crowds. 20 minute drive from where Sevierville becomes Pigeon Forge. 40 minutes from Gatlinburg with typical PF traffic. Amenities and provisions were great. Only mild dislikes were personal preferences (not our kind of sheets or towels and don't love the small toilets) but still Five Stars overall. Would definitely stay again.

What we were hoping for

This is exactly what we were hoping for. We stayed here 4 nights. Hot Tub was perfect. Everything was clean and the place was very comfortable. The only slight negative is that the towels were shedding lint/fibers and they didn't absorb much water. Overall it was pretty much perfect.

Beautiful getaway in the smokies

Overall, this cabin was wonderful. Just a couple of items that could have been better - there was no Roku remote for the main tv in the living room (and downloading alternatives were not easy) and the toaster was dilapidated and needs to be replaced.

Best location and super clean

Our family enjoyed every minute of the cabin and all the amenities provided for fun. Everything about the location is perfect, we enjoyed getting to grill out and spend quiet time playing games outside. Would definitely recommend to anyone with little ones, there was a ton of room! We hope to book the cabin again really soon!

As Advertised. Clean Cabin

We had a fun and relaxing time at the Cabin. It's about a 40-60 min drive to most waterfalls and trails in the smokies. Communication with host was simple using the VRBO app. We had breakfast on the wrap-around porch in the mornings. Played a lot of pool in the loft (my kids really enjoyed that). Hot tub was clean. Enjoyed the fire on one of the cooler days. I would recommend to others.

Great location and home!

I got the opportunity to rent this for my 24th birthday and it was as great to be out in the mountains. It’s about a 10 minute drive to all the activities of Pigeon Forge/Sevierville but we loved getting to be in the mountains and it even snowed while we were there so the view of everything was perfect! As for the home it is fully furnished with dishes, plates, utensils, etc so that was a plus. No one had any complaints at all! Only thing I can think of is that we couldn’t tell if the front tv had cable or not bc it wasn’t working for us but they had tons of family movies so that took up for everything. And the shower curtain in the main bathroom had a black stain in the middle I wasn’t sure if it was mold or not but the house was definitely 10/10 cleaned!! My mom was impressed by how beautiful the floors were and overall cleanliness of the house. She is a clean freak so this was important to her! Thanks for the opportunity to stay here!!! ❤️ I would definitely stay here again. If you’re reading this go ahead and get this property, you won’t be disappointed.

Awsome cabin!

This cabin is a awesome home! We sadly only stayed 1 night. There was 1 minor problem, that was addressed and taken care of. Will definitely stay here again! The owner is very nice and accommodating!

Perfect for a few days at Dollywood

Rohit was very easy to communicate with and answered everything I asked quickly. The property is in a great location and is well appointed. The hot tub and pool table were nice to have right on the property. I would recommend this property for a family.

Great location!

We loved this cabin!! It was roomy and just enough secluded to enjoy the views and hot tub. We cooked inside the cabin and had all we needed to do so. Very fast response from owner. The only downside was the drive to gatlinburg was a little farther out then we normally have. It was worth it though! Very nice place and truly professional owners who make sure your comfortable and have all you need. Would definitely recommend!!

Our home away from home

This is our second stay at this cabin and it was even better coming back a second time. We felt like it was coming home to a cabin we loved so much the first time. My husband works in Knoxville when we travel here so it's a reasonable drive there and also close to all of the attractions as well. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and the cabin is atop a hill close to the entrance to the resort and easy to get to. I do lots of cooking and everything (cookware and utensils) I've needed is available for that. Of course, I buy all the food needed for the stay but there are some seasonings in the pantry. The Keurig is a family favorite since we don't have one at home. We love the decks that wrap around two sides of the cabin and also one off the loft. The hot tub is always a hit and so is reading in the recliner every morning by the fireplace. I have two teens and a small child and they all enjoy their stay also and never want to leave the cabin. Rohit is the new owner and was very attentive and made sure we had no problems with our stay. I can't wait for the next trip! We hope to get Featherwinkle again.

Lovely cabin!

Everything about our rental here was perfect! The cabin was clean, had plenty of towels and wash clothes, even a game shelf with all kinds of games for us to enjoy! The view is beautiful, especially when we came since it was fall and all the trees were changing colors! The beds were comfortable and even had mattress toppers for extra comfort. The added bed upstairs in the loft was nice as our child loved being up there in his own space. The owner was very responsive and went above and beyond to help with a question we had. Definitely rent this cabin!!!
