Nestled in the Smoky Mountains, Retreat in the Smokies is a welcoming hillside cabin featuring 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, comfortably sleeping up to 10 guests. This cozy getaway is perfect for families or groups, offering beautiful mountain views, free Wi-Fi to keep everyone connected, and a relaxing hot tub for evenings under the stars. Set in a semi-private neighborhood, you ll enjoy both peace and quiet as well as easy access to local attractions, dining, and entertainment. With plenty of space to gather and make memories, this retreat is a wonderful place to relax and reconnect with the people who matter most.

Living Room:
Step into a warm and inviting living room that blends rustic charm with modern comfort. The loveseat and sleeper sofa, upholstered in a combination of leather and bear-print fabric, provide both style and comfort for relaxing after a day in the mountains. Gather around the stone gas fireplace for a cozy evening or enjoy your favorite shows on the large flat-screen TV with streaming services. With its open flow into the dining area and kitchen, this space is perfect for spending time together with family and friends. For added convenience, a full-sized washer and dryer are located just down the hall.

Kitchen/Dining:
Directly off the living room, the kitchen and dining area provide the perfect space for meals and gathering. A log dining table seats eight comfortably, with additional countertop seating for two. The fully equipped kitchen includes a full-sized refrigerator, electric range, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, Keurig, and toaster, along with dishes and utensils for your stay. Double doors open to the back deck, while a side door leads to the garage, which features a dart and axe-throwing board for extra fun. Dish towels, starter dish soap, and starter dishwasher pods are provided.

Out back, a screened-in porch with a glider for three offers the perfect spot for morning coffee or evening chats. Step out of the screened-in area to access the hot tub, where you can unwind beneath the open sky. A propane grill is also available, making it easy to enjoy outdoor meals together. With mountain views from both the front and back, this retreat is all about fresh air and relaxation.

Location/ Roads/ Parking:
Located in the Dogwood Farms community, this home offers easy access with all paved roads leading directly to a level, paved driveway. Parking is plentiful, with a two-car garage plus additional paved space for up to four vehicles. Guests will appreciate being just 15 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Pigeon Forge, 25 minutes from Gatlinburg, and within quick reach of everyday essentials only 10 minutes to Dollar General and about 20 minutes to the nearest full grocery store.

Our area has so many fun and entertaining attractions for all ages. Start with adventure when you ride coasters at Dollywood, win a game of putt-putt golf, race go-karts, splash at waterparks, mine for gems, visit museums, and oh-so-much more! For outdoor fun, you can explore the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where you can hike to waterfalls, horseback ride through valleys, picnic by a river, and fly fish! Once the thrills and adventure are over, visit the Tanger Outlets and local boutiques, where you can shop until you drop. Enjoy local cuisine, from southern family-style restaurants to chef-cooked meals at dinner time. After dinner, you can find a sweet shop on every corner to satisfy that sweet tooth before returning to the property.

Special Dates:
Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check-ins or check-outs on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year s Eve, or New Year s Day.

Check-In:
4pm - There is NO check-in office; you go straight to the cabin. Once all your payments have been made, we will send you an email with the door code we will resend it a week before your stay.

Cancellation Policy:
$50 fee + VRBO service fee
30 days up - You will get all of your money back (minus the $150 cancellation fee and minus the VRBO service fee)
29 days or less - Whatever dates we can re-book is the amount that we will refund back (-$150).
Example: If you had 5 nights, we re-booked 4 nights = you will be refunded 4 nights + tax + cleaning fee + damage fee + Bear Tootin fee ($25). That total will have subtracted the $150 cancellation fee Subtract the VRBO service fee.
