Private-Panoramic Views of the Great Smoky Mountains-FREE Mountain Air

Mountaintop Experience offers a comfortable authentic cabin atmosphere and a wonderful mountain-top setting with spectacular panoramic fifteen mile views into the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. If incredible mountain views are at the top of your 'must have' list, this cabin will not let you down.

From the back of the cabin no other cabins are visible. We replaced the upper deck early in 2017, replacing the spindles with hog wire, making the views even more unobstructed. The next year we updated the lower deck with hog wire. It's amazing what lengths some owners go through to take pictures that appear to show privacy! We have been burned several times in this way.

Main Level: Spacious floor plan with cathedral ceilings throughout and hardwood floors (except in master (carpeted) and baths, all of which are tiled), Great Room with Stone Gas Fireplace and Full Length Picture Windows, 42" HD LED TV, DVD/CD player/AM/FM Surround Sound, Updated Kitchen with leather granite countertops, granite sink, and bronze faucet, Stainless Steel/Black Appliances, Dining Room with large table and seating for six, Countertop seating for two, two piece Bath, Master King Bedroom with carpet (with Full Bath (leather granite countertops, sinks, faucets, and a spa like shower update in 2018, with pebble floor), TV, DVD player and access to upper deck), Uncovered deck spanning the length of the cabin with gas grill, a pub table with three chairs, two single rockers and one double rocker. 12’ x 12’ pergola on master end of deck, installed in 2017.

Lower Level: 10' ceiling throughout lower level with carpet, Game Room with Stone Gas Fireplace, New Pool Table (11/2018), old-fashioned video game table, 42" HD LED TV, BluRay DVD player, Wii console (bring your own games and remotes), Two Queen Bedrooms (one with access to lower deck and TV/DVD; one with Wi-Fi Router for Internet Access, and sleep number mattress), Full Bath (new granite, tile, tub, sink, faucets), Separate Utility Room with Washer and Dryer, Pull out queen Sofa bed, Covered Deck spanning the length of the cabin with Hot Tub, two-person rocker and two single rockers.

This cabin was absolute PERFECTION! Lori was very personable and communicated every detail ahead of time, the cabin was clean, welcoming, cozy, and relaxing. There was no detail lacking with this one, from the completely furnished kitchen, to the cozy fireplace and the OMGosh soft and cozy bath towels... I'm not sure what could have been better. And to top it off, the view from the deck was AMAZING!!! We will definitely book this cabin again for a future trip!

Our stay at this beautiful cabin in the Smoky Mountains was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking mountain views that stretched for miles. Pictures truly don’t do it justice. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, giving us that perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The cabin had everything we needed for 7 day relaxing and memorable getaway. We especially loved spending our evenings playing pool and then relaxing in the hot tub.The cabin is located away from the chaos of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and still close enough to get to with a 20 min drive through the beautiful winding mountain roads. Lori(the owner) was very communicative leading up to our trip and throughout our stay. Highly recommend this cabin as your go to spot to enjoy eastern Tennessee and all that it has to offer.

Amazing stay, amazing place. Host was very responsive and communicated well. There was an information book available in the cabin, and notes posted throughout that covered any questions you had. Very nice and well kept property. Private with views that were great. We spend a week in the Towsend / Gatlinburg area each year, and not sure we have had a more accommodating location with it being central to everything we wanted to do. Community Pool made it nice to come back to in the evenings.

Best view

This was the best view that I have ever had. From the moment you walk through the front door you know you picked the right spot. We enjoyed every aspect of the home but my favorite was sitting on the deck and soaking in the view. We even got to see a mama and her baby bears.

Mountain getaway

My husband and I with our 4 kids had the greatest time at mountain top experience! It was very clean and Lori was very easy to communicate with. My kids are ages 6-10, and usually there are no accidents but I did purchase the insurance and my kids broke a fixture which Lori was great about and I am so glad we had the Insurance! Would definitely recommend this to anybody staying in the Gaitlinburg/Pigeon Forge area.

Mountaintop Experience

Beautiful cabin, drive up the mountain worth it!! On the “quiet side” of the Smokies. Spotlessly clean, beautiful view, so well stocked! Lori was so helpful and responsive. Beds were comfortable, clean hot tub, nice pool table. Would heartily recommend Mountaintop Experience!

Awesome house, gorgeous view!

The place was amazing! The view out the back is worth a stay all by itself. Throw in a very clean (and well appointed) home, fun games to play (the video game console and pool table were big hits), and a cozy hot tub, and it’s the perfect getaway. The owner’s communication and organization is top notch. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Birthday celebration

No matter what the weather, we had amazing views of the Smokey mountains. What an amazing spot with a beautiful "cabin". I put this in quotes because, yes, it is a cabin theme, but has bits of luxury and is so well appointed that it is far superior to any cabin I have visited before. Close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, there was plenty to do. We also made sure to drive the foothills parkway for more and different spectacular views. Would definitely return. Owners were wonderful to work with

Majestic!

We had an amazing 7 day stay. The place was clean, the host was incredibly responsive and accommodating and the views were absolutely majestic. I’ve booked 8 different cabins in the mountains and this is by far one of the best. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the appliances you need, the closets are stocked with plenty of blankets, pillows and games for the family. The hot tub was hot, the fireplaces worked great and the beds were very comfortable. We will be returning!

Perfect Cabin Getaway

This cabin is perfect layout for family with master upstairs with kitchen and family room and spare rooms and bath with game room and hot tub balcony! Balcony rooms off two bedrooms and sitting area with the beautiful views of mountains can’t be beat! Short drive to our favorite areas in Pigeon Forge.

Once in a lifetime vacation

This cabin is absolutely stunning. The view, the cabin, the amenities were all way better than we could have ever imagined. The spa was perfect every time we wanted to get in it, the drive up to and down the mountain wasn’t too difficult to traverse even in light snow! We are already planning our next trip.

Great host and cabin

We spent the Thanksgiving Holiday at Lori's cabin in Sevierville. The cabin offers unparalleled views of the Smoky Mountains. Just waking up in the morning to the mountain view from our bedroom was breathtaking. Additionally, Lori was a very responsive and helpful host. She gave our family various suggestions and pointers for things to do and see in the area. If I ever go back to Sevierville, I would definitely rent this cabin again!

Truly a dream!

Family of four traveling with small children and this cabin was everything we were looking for. The photos posted are exactly how the cabin is. The views are incredible! Seeing the sun come up from the master bedroom as you wake up, enjoying coffee on the deck as the morning gets warm, a glass of wine as the sun goes down, and a relaxing soak in the hot tub after a day hiking in GSMNP, is exactly what a trip to gatlinburg should be! Lori is the perfect host: she’s responsive and accommodating. Every step of the way she communicated with us. And really listen to her advice- there’s a road leading up she makes a recommendation on how to approach, which is different from nav systems and she’s spot on !! Just such a quiet beautiful place. Everyone looks forward to returning!!

The cabin is exactly as shown in the pictures. The kitchen was well equipped, and big enough for me to make meals for everyone. The layout of the cabin was perfect for our family and the view was amazing! This is one of the best cabins we have stayed in on our trips to the Smoky Mts.

The View

My family and I stayed here last year at about the same time. Yes, we liked it so much we came back (if that tells you something). This stay was just as great as the first.
