Guest Services provided on-site at resort office: Front Desk, Maintenance, and Concierge.
This private and spacious log cabin has beautiful mountain views! Large open living room with a gas fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, and great dining space. Four bedrooms with king beds and four full bathrooms. Open loft has pool table, multicade video arcade game, and bunk beds. Large porches with rocking chairs, a hot tub, and gas grill. Wireless high speed internet, cable TV, and TVs in all bedrooms. Just steps away from a beautiful hiking trail. Dogs are allowed for a pet fee of $119 per dog.

Southern Splendor is located in Little Valley Mountain Resort where you have access to so many great amenities that are included in your stay! There is an outdoor pool, putt-putt, four stocked fishing ponds, par 3 golf, four hiking trails, patio fire-pit, tennis court, basketball, volleyball, badminton, batting cage, horseshoes, disc golf, playgrounds, and picnic tables. All these are included in your stay at no extra cost! The resort office is located on the resort where you can find all the equipment needed for the amenities. We even provide fishing poles and sell live bait at the office. DVD movies available for rent. All the fun stuff is right here at the resort!

When you venture into town, you are only 5 miles from the main parkway. Just minutes from Dollywood, Gatlinburg, outlet malls, grocery stores, restaurants, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park! There is an easy drive to Cades Cove from the resort that will avoid all parkway traffic. This cabin is in the perfect location to feel like you are secluded in The Smokies, but you are still close to all the attractions.

Holiday Getaway.

We came up the day after Christmas. It was a nice peaceful stay. The house was beautiful and quiet and clean. We took our dog and had plenty of room to walk him outside and our family had enough space to make everyone comfortable. The view was amazing and I love the short distance into town.

Christmas in the Smokies

The cabin was so nice. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Hot tub and pool table were enjoyed by all. Only complaint was the bunk beds. Top bunk didn’t have an adequate safety rail so girls weren’t allowed to sleep in that bed. They shared the lower bunk. It worked.

Great Cabin

We had a wonderful time with this rental. Great location where you are off the beaten path but not too far off if you wanted to run out and grab something.. Amenities offered were perfect. The cabin itself has everything you need and was very nice. I would highly recommend staying here.

80th Birthday

We had 8 adults and one child in our party. We rented this cabin for our Mom’s 80th Birthday. We selected the cabin based on the 2 main floor bedrooms and previous reviews. We were not disappointed! The cabin was very clean and the location was close to everything! We had a great time and will definitely return to Southern Splendor! Highly recommend!

Need new and better pots & pans

We enjoyed the cabin. Especially appreciated having king size beds in each of the four bedrooms. Getting away from the crowds when we went back to the cabin was very nice. The teens thoroughly enjoyed playing pool. Our only regret were the pots and pans. They are beyond pitiful! Could not cook anything that it didn't stick and make a burnt mess!

Nice Mountain getaway

Nice home with great amenities. Close to Pigeon Forge and only a short trip to Gatlinburg. I was expecting more of a view off the back deck but it was still very nice. I would stay here again and recommend it to others with families.

This place was spotless even in the corners. Amenities are located down at the entrance but very nicely done. I would recommend it. You are just 10 minutes from Pigeon Forge.

Cabin was clean and conveniently located. Bethanna was great to work with.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. It would have been nice to have had ceiling fans in all the bed rooms and a larger or an additional hot water heater would have been nice whereas we ran out of hot water each night.

Very comfortable for our two families (4 adults and 5 kiddos)!

Very secluded. We loved the resort amenities as well. It was very clean and enjoyable. We loved having the pool, putt putt, and fishing. One small suggestion would be to have more of the staples in the kitchen (pepper, dish towels, etc). We did get to see a bear the last morning!

Even better than we expected!

Southern Spendor has our vote for another stay if we return to Tennessee! A beautiful setting located so close to all the attractions and touristy fun, yet so private and secluded! We slept 5 adults and 6 (pre-teen) kids comfortably. Cabin was clean and stocked to our needs for cooking. Easy access to hiking trails and even found a beautiful waterfall close to the trailhead and took the opportunity for beautiful family pictures! Bummed we didn’t see any bear but sounds like they are active in the close area according to the “Cabin Visitors Book”. Our family had an experience and made memories here at a Southern Splendor that we will forever cherish! Thank you for a beautiful and cozy place to enjoy!

Weekend Getaway

The cabin was very clean and decorated beautifully. We loved the view of the snowy mountains from the back deck. My favorite was the open floor plan of the kitchen and living area. The dining table was large enough to accommodate a large family.
