As advertised, this was a large house. We had 14 people and one dog and never felt cramped. The location was great, just 10 minutes or so from Dollywood, Gatlinburg Golf Course, and the strip in Pigeon Forge. We spent a lot of time outside on the upper deck. We even saw a bear trying to get into the trash cans at the house. Be aware, though, that this house is in a neighborhood with many very large houses. On day 5 of our trip, several busloads of teenage boys showed up, for the weekend, in houses around us. Even though they seemed well behaved, that many boys are very, very loud. Three full size sofas were nice for watching baseball and hockey. Two large refrigerators were great. With that said, here are some things that would likely keep us from coming back. We did not receive an email with check in instructions as is normal for VRBO. We finally got a door code an hour or so before check-in after again contacting the host. The beds are terrible. The mattresses are ALL worn out, saggy, noisy, or poking springs. One of the bunk bed’s supports was broken when we got there, making the top bunk unusable and the bottom bunk dangerous. We ended up moving a couple of mattresses to the floor to allow sleeping. Even on the king beds, the pillows were tiny and flat. Several tubs and sinks had clogged drains and or missing stoppers.
