The cabin itself was beautiful—brand new, nicely done, and the private pool was definitely a highlight. And while I can appreciate that brand-new things often come with kinks that need smoothing out, the number of inconveniences we faced turned what should have been a fun weekend into something similar to stress test.The Check-In ProcessThis felt more like a hostage negotiation than a welcome. Instead of arriving ready to relax, we began our vacation weekend in a panic as an in-person visit to the management office by a specific time is required, and ONLY the person who made the booking is allowed to do it. No delegating, no exceptions. If you’re the one who booked but also have a job that day—too bad. If you booked and planned to arrive later than the rest of your party—tough luck, crying babies and all must wait.The Pool AlarmNot mentioned in the listing. Not mentioned at check-in. Instead, we walked in and were immediately serenaded by an ear-piercing alarm that went off so often and for so long that local dogs started to howl along. After reaching out to management, we were given vague instructions that didn’t apply to our house and certainly didn’t disarm the alarm, so it became the main track on the soundtrack to our weekend. We finally had to remove the batteries just to sleep.The MicrowaveShiny and new, yes—but only useful as a decorative box since it refused to heat anything.
