Our family recently spent 7 nights at the Hawks Ridge cabin in Elk Springs Resort, and it was our first time visiting Tennessee. We traveled as a family of five, including my mother and our autistic teenage daughter who absolutely loves the outdoors—especially mountains, waterfalls, and cozy fire pits. This trip exceeded all of our expectations.From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning mountain views right from the cabin. We were treated to breathtaking sunrises each morning and peaceful sunsets in the evening, all from the comfort of the deck. The location was ideal—close enough for easy travel to local attractions and scenic spots, yet tucked away enough to feel like a true mountain retreat.The cabin itself was extremely clean, well-maintained, and offered plenty of space for all six of us to spread out and relax. Our daughter particularly enjoyed spending time outside near the fire pit and taking in the natural surroundings—it was truly therapeutic for her.Resort staff were incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay. Any questions or minor issues we had were quickly addressed with professionalism and kindness. Their communication made everything seamless, from booking to checkout.We couldn’t have asked for a better first trip to Tennessee. Hawks Ridge gave us a perfect home base, and we created memories our family will cherish for years. Highly recommended for families, especially those looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway in the Smokies.
