"The kids had a blast meeting and playing with the other families. It rained a bit, but the tents stayed dry and staff worked hard to dry the outside areas and restart the outdoor fires when weather permitted. "

"We spent a few days at Smoky Waters Lodge over spring break and had a GREAT visit! the cabin is exactly as presented in the listing. Everything was clean, organized, and no extra clutter in the house! It felt like a little retreat in the midst of the mountains. The cabin is only about a 15-20 minute drive from all of the events and activities you may want to do in the area. "Our family of 8 ranging from 9 to 80 had a great stay at Phoenix Lodge! Enough bedrooms and baths plus private spaces. House is beautiful and very clean. Pool was a big hit. Views are fabulous. The 2 bears we saw were a plus. We arrived the day after a bad storm with trees down and no electric. The host was completely on top of the issues. Excellent communication throughout our stay."
