Perfect for couples seeking a romantic retreat, White Sands 9 provides the ideal setting for long, leisurely days spent basking in the tropical sunshine and cherishing each other's company. Plenty of sun loungers and chairs offer the ultimate in seaside comfort. While the White Sands complex does not feature a pool, guests hardly miss it thanks to the picture-perfect beachfront setting awaiting their enjoyment. Plus, exceptional snorkeling opportunities lie right off shore or you can take a short walk north to Cemetery Beach. There is an assigned parking space for guests staying in White Sands 9, so we recommend that you rent a car so that you can explore the rest of the island, as there is so much to see and do, unless of course you just want to relax on the beach and swim in the spectacular Caribbean sea every day, which is what White Sands is perfect for!

There is an updated bathroom with a walk in shower and plenty of room for you to get ready and freshen up after a long day at the beach! The bedroom has a King bed and the kitchen is fully equipped with all you need to make a delicious meal and watch the sun set over the horizon. A SMART TV is available for you to end the day relaxing and watching a great movie!

  • 7 mile beach in Grand Caymans. First stop on the adventure of the seas and did the catamaran snorkel. Which was amazing. Highly recommended. The beach is very clean and we felt safe while there. We took the public bus back to Port which was about $5 a person.

My expectations were exceeded :). The host brought over a new coffee maker whenever mine was broken, next day! Super lovely property and right on the beach, which is hard to come by if you’re not into resorts. It’s a great location and easy to drive to anything. I recommend a car though!

Location

Great location on Seven Mile Beach. Easily accessible to great restaurants, grocery store and liquor store. Really enjoyed our second time staying at the White Sands complex. Will be back again!

Great stay

This location is perfect for people looking for a quiet getaway. The water is perfect and the condo is as described. You open the door and are two steps from the sand. The host and cleaning crew are also pleasant and welcoming. We hope to stay again!

Perfect, idyllic location

Nothing like walking out the door onto 7-Mile Beach. Location is perfect - off the busy road, but close to shopping, restaurants, and snorkeling at Cemetary Beach. Condo was easy to find and kept clean daily with maid service. Highly recommended.

Great Beach, bad unit

The beach was great but the unit needs work. Some furniture fabric must have been badly stained because there were towels tucked in around the cushions. The curtain on the rear sliding door needs to be removed and washed, the tops are filthy. Dust must have been accumulating on the tops of lamp shades for years and there was even dust on some walls. There was mold at the bottom of the glass shower enclosure. The bathroom towels were not soft and the quality was not close to being equal to other condo units we rented in the same price range. There were 3 different types of light bulbs used in the lamps in the living room; LED, Fluorescent and incandescent and as a result the room looked very eerie at night. The LED bulbs were day light, not soft white and looked horrible. The light above the dining table wasn't bright enough to be used as a night light. It was a small single tube with an LED light bulb within it. The heating plate of the coffee maker was all rusty. Some dining plates were permanently stained. The thermostat needs to be replaced or recalibrated. It would not stay at the temperature we set. I had to manually turn it on when it got to warm and manually shut it off when it got to cool. It looks as if the owners put this unit together with stuff they had laying around. We would not rent this unit again.

Wonderful choice

We stayed at White Sands 2 weeks and could have done another 2. Great beach, great location, easy access to town for groceries and other shopping through public transit (2$ per person). We arrived on a Sunday and our first task on Monday was to go grocery shopping. We hired a taxi not being familiar with the lay of the land. Took us there and back, and all follow up groceries wand other shopping was done by bus. Quick, efficient, friendly. The condo was perfect. Ground floor, feet on the beach, wonderful sand. Kitchen was full equipped, bathroom perfect, living room and TV and internet service perfect. We will be back. Special thanks to the property manager Marjii who was Avery helpful in getting us going on our first day, and helping us with several first-timer questions throughout.

We loved this condo and would definitely recommend to a friend. Very clean and the property manager is very responsive. The location is excellent. The beach is great- not crowded. Great views from the living room.

Spectacular view

Property was clean, quiet, and secluded from other resorts. The beach is cleaned daily. The view is hard to beat. Property manager and cleaning staff were prompt and accommodating if you requested it. Would definitely return!

White Sands was just perfect. The condo was clean and had everything we needed… towels, laundry detergent paper towels, cooler, noodles, etc. The beach was beautiful, calm and never crowded. It is now one of my top two places for a beach vacation places.

Great Little Location

Property is nice and quaint on the West Bay Area. Water out front was great. Less traffic running by the beach in front. Premises was clean and had everything we needed. Daily maid service was a nice touch too. Had a great time and will return for a future vacation. Thanks!

We loved staying at White Sands #9 and being directly on the beautiful 7 mile beach. The condo had everything we needed including beach towels and kitchen was well equipped with toaster, blender, etc.

Loved this spot! You walk out the back door and your on the beach. Dead center of 7mile beach, and after walking half of 7 mile beach, it is the best beach there. Great ocean view and the sand is perfect! The place it’s self, it’s not the ritz, but it’s a perfect beach house. Go in thinking beach house and you will not be disappointed. EVERYTHING YOU NEED is less than a 5 min drive. Shopping, food, grocery and liquor. Things to know before you go.. Stores closed on Sundays, unless you’re at a resort, everything closes early, they drive in the left, and they use British pounds. Stock up at the grocery. Paddle boards and some float things are there for you. The management replies very quick to needs.Rackem and Sharkeez best bars, Casanova is the best Italian food on the island. We will be back to White sands and highly recommend!

Perfect beach vacation

This was our second stay at White Sands #9 and we hope to be back again, although we see significant price increases for the near future. We love everything about this condo and its location, especially being able to go from condo to beach in a few steps, the availability of shade throughout the day, and also the people, many of whom are regularly vacationing there, so it feels like a community. We also love West Bay in general with its Foster's grocery store and excellent take-out places, like Heritage Kitchen, Super C's and Real Taste and restaurants, like Cracked Conch & affiliated Macabuca Bar, Tukka (especially for Taco Tuesday) and Bella Trattoria. One thing to mention is that the beach has experienced a bit of erosion over the last year and it takes some effort to get out of the water as there is a bit of a drop. We also loved our housekeeper Julie and her excellent services, but didn't like the use of conventional cleaning products, as one of us has a chemical sensitivity.

Lovely Beach

Pros: Best beach with wonderful trees; as listed, this is a well-sized, clean one bedroom apartment. Cons: A car is absolutely necessary since no restaurants, grocery stores or good snorkeling are nearby; a number of technical breakdowns but they were fixed well by management; no beach toys provided; shampoo not provided; no starter food supplied (no coffee, etc.); furniture upholstery was very dirty.

Relaxing Getaway

Lovely stay at White Sands 9. We had everything we needed for a relaxing, quiet vacation. Beach is amazing and uncrowded. Cannot beat the location and private beach. Property was very clean! (thank you to our sweet housekeeper). This was our second stay and we will be back!
