Amazing stay!!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we neededā€”especially for staying with kids. From toys and games to kid-friendly spaces, it made our trip so much easier. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus, and the garden was beautiful and peaceful. The location was great, just a short drive to the Olympic Game Farm, which was a highlight of our trip.Our host, Lisa, was wonderfulā€”very friendly and responsive whenever we had a question. We truly felt at home and would absolutely stay here again!

Nice location, very clean, well stocked

We had a great stay at Lisa and Robertā€™s cottage. Very well stocked, clean and easy to communicate with them. I was very touched to receive flowers, balloons and wine as a birthday welcome! Daughter loved the upstairs hang out area, hot tub was wonderful after hikes. (The waiver thatā€™s required to sign is 4 pages which threw us a bit.) We would stay again if in the area or recommend to others, for sure.

Beautiful bungalow in Sequim

I stayed here with my teenage daughter and one of her friends. We loved making root beer floats, visiting the chickens, and the over all comfort of the house. It was a great base to explore the town, Dungeness Spit, and Hurricane Ridge.

This house was perfect for our stay! It was very clean and in a good location for everything we wanted to go see / do in the park. We have never stayed in a house that was so well stocked as this home! They left us a bottle of wine AND ingredients to make root beer floats. Such a sweet place to stay with chickens, a hot tub, and lavender plants!

Perfect vacation

Travelling with a group of five, your place truely felt like home away from our home in Germany. Fresh eggs and coffee essential for a good start into our adventures and complimentary wine bottles to round off the day. Everything was as advertised and perfect for us. A perfect location to visit Olympic National Park and the penninsula. Lisa and Robert are perfect hosts. We will come back whenever in the area.

Family Beach Holiday

Our entire family (3 adults and 4 grandchildren, ages 4-12 years) had a wonderful and memorable experience staying at the Wise Old Owl bungalow during our stay in Sequim. Robert and Lisa are very caring, capable hosts who have the comfort and concerns of their guests always in the forefront of their minds. The house itself had the most well-appointed kitchen that we've ever had the pleasure of using, from great cookware and sharp knives to condiments and spices. We ate most of our breakfasts and dinners there, and it was a real pleasure to do so for someone who loves to cook! They even shared their farm-fresh eggs with us! The kids loved the toy room, the hot tub, and watching the chickens and ducks, and holding the very tame chicken with Robert. The home is in a great location for explorers of the area, with beaches or hikes readily available in every direction within 15-60 minutes. We had fabulous weather and spent every day outdoors in nature, and the kids never once asked for tablets or t.v., opting instead for the rocks, sand, waves, and beach creatures. The Texas grandkids are already asking when we may return! We would not hesitate to return to this sweet bungalow and these lovely hosts. Renee July/August, 2024

Perfect Getaway

my husband and I wanted a little getaway for our Anniversary!! This place was perfect for the 2 of us. Lisa and Robert are great hosts. The place is very nice, very clean and stocked well. The location was also very peaceful. We will definitely put this on our list of places to return to.

Sequim Getaway

Great place in Sequim for a family! We loved the cherry tree and lavender bushes in the yard. The kids loved the playroom too! Great hosts with nice added touches. Would definitely stay again!

The perfect getaway

This property is so beautiful, super convenient to the neighborhood. We had a wonderful family reunion barbecued for 11 the host and hostess Lisa and Robert or marvelous people. Your accommodations were wonderful plenty of room for all of us. I would recommend it to friends and stay again myself

Beautiful, clean, and spacious!

This place is definitely one of the best VRBO's we have ever stayed at! 3 bedrooms, nice size kitchen and family room, and plenty of parking. We enjoyed the hot tub every day after hiking. It is quite a drive to most of the Olympic National Park sites but the place itself was wonderful!

We arrived Friday evening after dinner. The unit is beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. Lisa is a wonderful host, providing ample opportunities for us to request/wonder about/ or report issues (of which there were none!) She provided lots of brochures highlighting things to do in the area. Everything in the unit was well marked and organized, making our stay easy. The root beer floats were appreciated, too! We highly recommend Lisa and her unit when in the area!

Comfortable and Convenient

Hosts were very easy to communicate with and very friendly. Home was very clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we couldā€™ve needed. Our host even informed us of a possible storm and had prepared us for that (water/flashlights/batteries) & reassured us of their power grid. Very impressive. The location is great, with stores & restaurants just a few miles away. Mahalo for a wonderful stay!

Great time catching up with friends

The house was very clean and stocked for myself and my friends. We really felt that the hosts cared about our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed the variety of things available to us in the house - movies, games, and overall had a great time with friends that haven't gotten together in a while. The location is really convenient to anything you'd want to do in the area.

My friends and I were in town for a birthday shrimping weekend. The home is in a prime location - close to EVERYTHING, yet secluded from the outside noise when you get into the gates. The host was amazing with all communication!. The home was EXTREMELY WELL equipped with everything needed to cook. The host also had all the ingredients for root beer floats ready for us - even down to the mugs frozen in the freezer. Nothing to complain about here. Would definitely return.

Nice place to stay

The property was very nice. Great views of the mountains, and we saw several bald eagles fly right over the property. Near everything, but far enough out side of town to feel remote. Hosts were very accommodating. We will be back next time we visit the area.

November vacation

Great place to stay, always come back to this place whenever my husband do his locum at the cancer center. Very convenient to work, place is very clean and the host provides everything we need during the stay. Weā€™ve stayed probably three or four times and never got disappointed.
