"It's an interesting place to stay for sure, love the vintage vibe however the neon beer signs in the windows at the restaurant kill that vibe a lot. I would definitely take the neon signs down. Not too expensive and close to downtown Portsend which is great! "

"The Palace Hotel is a lovely old Victorian Hotel with beautiful woodwork, stained glass, flowered wallpaper and lace curtains. Our room was on the 3rd floor with a gorgeous view of Port Townsend harbor, with a private bath,and a small kitchenette. The king size bed was very comfortable. There is a grand old stairway to climb with luggage as there is no elevator. A parking pass is issued for the parking lot to the rear of the building. The staff was very friendly and helpful. "I absolutely love the property. The cottage is absolutely perfect.I think it has everything you need for a home away from home. The staff was very helpful as I had a few questions. I got quick responses. The check-in process was extremely easy and the checkout process is extremely smooth. I love that you can take your dog and the private beach just across the street is amazing. I have stayed here twice now and will continue to book here."
