"Lovely and very well equipped fire. The pool area is great and secure for children. Kim and Jeremy were extremely welcoming, helpful and very communicative. we stayed with our two very young children and there was plenty of baby equipment (high chair, baby bath, stair gate etc) available. The location is rural but within an easy drive to lots of local amenities and chateaux. Would definitely recommend as a base to explore the area!"

"Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans ce gîte avec notre bébé d'un an ! La maison est équipée de tout ce que l'on peut avoir besoin au quotidien (vaisselle et ustensiles de cuisine, machine à laver, chaise haute...) et idéalement située à la fois au calme et proche du zoo de Beauval. Un soir, nous avons même eu la chance d'apercevoir une biche traverser le terrain ! "

"We enjoyed the serenity of the location, the nature and beauty of the house and gardens. The home was secure with a gate. The animals were a bonus. We loved the old house and the antique furniture and the level of furnishings. The accommodation is very spacious and comfortable. What we found a bit odd was no curtains in the kitchen/living room and lounge areas but we have experienced the same thing in another cottage in France and therefore presume that this is the standard. "We spent a lovely 5 nights at the Gite de Cambalu which was well equipped and very well situated for visiting the towns and chateaux (especially Chenonceau) of the Loire valley. The setting in the countryside was very peaceful and it really nice to eat fresh eggs in the morning from the farm courtesy of our host. "Petit gîte idéal si l'on souhaite se ressourcer car très calme. Comme indiqué dans l'annonce : attention aux escaliers qui sont très, très raides. Pas idéal donc avec des personnes âgées et des enfants en bas âge. L'annonce indique 4 personnes max et effectivement je trouve que 4 personnes c'est un maximum pour profiter agréablement du gîte. "A experiência que deveria ser um sonho foi um pesadelo, procurávamos um castelo com glamour para ficar, onde dormiríamos numa cabana e teríamos toda a estrutura de um hotel a disposição. Não foi isso que encontramos, o hotel estava fechado, não tinha café da manhã e nem restaurante, a cabana não era arrumada diariamente, o box é o chuveiro foram feitos para pessoas de 1,20cm de altura. A área externa do chalé era escuro e cheio de lama. Nossas filham falaram que parecia um local de filme de terror. "
