"Helpful staff. We initially had a room (balcony with lake view) with communicating door. Due to noisy neighbour we were reallocated to another room by very helpful hotel receptionist and porter. Our reallocated room was spacious but hotel was not very generous with their toiletries provision. Breakfast menu limited choice and presentation could be improved. Breakfast on day left much to be desired: plates cold, toasts were soggy, food lukewarm, not appetising. Better attempt the next day...

"This is not a hostel. It is a homeless shelter and should not be advertised on Expedia. There are no on site staff to sign you in. It is done via camera and tv. The place is not clean and there are no amenities. The pictures used show a social area with young backpackers but this is definitely how the building is now. "

"Property extremely dated, old and not maintained. Poor presentation, photos did not reflect our room. Wouldn't recommend staying here. No Wifi in rooms only in Reception. "

"Looking at it outside smashed windows, very old looking needing some tlc but wait till you try to sleep toilet ran all night, walls windows are not sound proof can hear the music banging all night from nearby bars and clubs last night went from 10pm to 6am then the street cleaning started would never stay there again "

"I stayed at this pub hotel in Adelaide in February 2026 and unfortunately it was a pretty disappointing experience overall. The room itself was an odd shape, which made it very impractical. Cupboards and drawers were essentially unusable because they were blocked by the bed, and the furnishings felt tired and outdated. The view didn’t help either — just the roof of the pub covered in air conditioning units — and there was constant noise from the hotel music, which made it hard to properly...

"There was plenty of parking but no amenities near by. Had to keep using an Uber all the time. The room was clean. But overlooked air conditioning over a roof which was very unsightly, not ideal. The place overall was basically a pub, no food which was inconvenient as i didnt have a car. They advertised meals but didnt have any. Would i stay here again, definitely NO. You need a vehicle to stay here. Theu mis advertised and need to change what they have available "
