"Beautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings. "Lovely stay in beautiful old house, close to the city center (10/15 min walk) with plenty of free parking on the premises. Room comfortable and clean. Free breakfast, which was buffet style in lovely dining room. Good selection of hot and continental style food although as with most breakfast buffets the hot food was a little dried up.
