"We had an absolutely wonderful time here. The Bothy was perfectly decorated and set up for a wonderful stay. The location could not have been better with the ability to walk to the Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle, and to embark upon longer drives and hikes throughout the Dales. We could not have asked for a better spot to stay."

"The house is small but had everything we needed to make it perfect. The owner has thought of everything to make our stay a home from home and the location was ideal for everywhere we wanted to visit plus there’s a hotel next door that does lovely meals but you have to book in advance because it’s very popular. Really enjoyed our stay."

"Tucked Away Cottage is a peaceful, comfortable base right in the middle of Grassington. It’s within literally a few paces of great pubs and small local shops - with lots of nice walks on the doorstep too. Did good hikes to Bolton Abbey, Buckden Pike and Malham Cove/Tarn. Even managed an unavoidable day’s work thanks to the good wifi. Parking right outside the front door is a real bonus. Thanks!"

"As ever, heavenly! We spent a lovely 5 days at barn acre. The weather though changeable was excellent and gave us a chance to continue to explore the area. Bolton castle is a must. We were able to return to barn acre knowing that it is a wonderful base. Everything you need for a very comfortable visit. This is our third visit and won’t be our last. We thank the owners for their cosy home from home and their lovely welcome package."

"Comfortable cottage though could do with an upgrade in kitchen , a little shabby , ideal location with plenty walks on the door step . We enjoyed our stay . Scenery stunning , plenty of places to eat out . Great cottage for walkers , maybe not family with kids due to stairs!"

"Not quite as it looked in the advert . The outside table and chairs give the impression you can sit out in a courtyard ..it's actually the drive up to the other property's . The next property was occupied by seven lads on a stag weekend who all came in there cars , therefore nowhere to park for our two cars .the weekend was also marred by the taxi turning up at the lads accommodation with a young lady in what can only be described as as nurses outfit and heels ... Not what we expected when we...

"There are only 3 pods, which protects the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The view is exceptional and a place to truly relax. The pods offer a good standard of living space with a lovely hot shower and a really comfortable bed. The local sheep add an interesting intro to being in the countryside and lovely to watch. The pod is reached by a narrow single track road but this didn’t cause us any difficulties. The location is great for getting most places in the Dales. We will definitely be back. "

"We had a wonderful stay in this property over new year. The property is very close to the centre of Kirby Lonsdale & also for exploring the surrounding countryside. "We had a wonderful break at Westbrook House. The cottage worked really well for us and views both from the back and front of the house were stunning. There is plenty to do and walks directly from the house. Farm shops and tearooms and little towns to explore as well as hills to climb are in abundance. There is a local pub a short walk away. We particularly enjoyed the garden and listening to the birds. The house was well equipped and Phil provided all the information we needed for a great stay....

"I have no idea how I can rate the hotel for "Eco-friendliness"? What a daft question that is. Anyway, check-in was quick and friendly. The room was quiet, stylish and clean. I felt very relaxed. I didn't eat in the restaurant and didn't have breakfast, so cannot comment on either. I would stay here again. The one negative for me was the marketing garbage I got sent ahead of my stay. An email saying "we have carefully selected some optional extras specifically for you", which then offered...
