"I arrived and was told my room had been sold, even though there were NO cars in the parking lot. The smell in the office was atrocious and the attendant was struggling to communicate with me, little English apparently. He seemed to be trying to sell me a different room but the looks and atmosphere of the place and his demeanor were so awful I told him I was not interested in a different room. He told me to go on the website and cancel, and when I did, he had marked me as a no show."

"The whole hotel smells like dog poo. I wouldget a steam cleaner to clean the carpets in the hallways and that would make it much nicer. The rooms are not bad, cold AC and good shower, but the smell in the hallways is pretty bad."

"We were a bit sad the pool was unavailable due to construction. There was also a bit of construction noise. The continental breakfast was limited due to the kitchen being closed, also due to renovation construction. However, THE STAFF WAS AMAZING!!!!!! Everyone was so upbeat and friendly! From check in to check out their attitudes were so cheery. I would recommend staying here even if the construction never stopped and the pool never opened. "I booked a suite for the extra comfort. The room was large as expected and clean. Maintenance was a disappointment. The facility is obviously old, however it could be better maintained. The carpeting was crinkled up and needs replacement or at least re-stretching. The plumbing fixtures in the tub are rusted and should be replaced. This is a pretty easy fix. The lighting is awful. "The property is OK for the price though the breakfast can be better; it felt stale esp the breads. Behavior of the staff is not good. I had to cut short my visit by one day and even though the terms and conditions of expedia clearly stated that to cancel the next night, we must inform by previous midnight and I did inform at 5 pm on 06/12 that I needed to cancel the 06/13 night, they did not refund me. The hotel told me that Expedia will manage this as it is a 3rd party booking. I called Expedia...

"Original room had ants and the new one that was attached to it got ants the second day. Water pressure was non existent and we discovered a leak in the lobby so maybe that was why"
