"We had a great stay at this hotel in Novato. The room was spacious and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Housekeeping came every other day, which worked perfectly for us and kept everything clean and tidy. The free breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options to choose from, and the staff was always nearby to refill items and make sure guests had everything they needed. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. If we come back to Novato, we will definitely stay here...

"This was just an average room in an expensive area. For the price you pay, you'd expect free car parking and breakfast, but no. They cater to people going to the Sonoma Racetrack, as RV's and trucks get free parking. The room was almost motel 6 quality. No slow close toilet lid, cracks in 5 of the tiles above the bathtub sealed with silicone and food particles between the wall and the nightstand. The "sofa sleeper"? That's a joke."

"This place is a great location with a comfy bed and nice staff, but it needs an update. (In process - we saw construction crews.). Our room was noisy with the window open, and with window closed, the AC unit was even noisier. Bathrooms not yet updated to most modern Marriott hotels, and not enough charging. We were spoiled having stayed at Sheraton Palo Alto the previous two nights, which is very updated."

We enjoyed it in the library but the open courtyard was beautiful too. Perfect in warmer weather. The bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water. There are stairs only to the second floor so plan for that."

The restroom in separated into 2 small rooms and the wash sink and mirror is not with in the restroom. Also, fire alarm from 12 am to 1 am at midnight on April 12, 2026. "
