"The hotel room had so many great amenities! It was a bit far from downtown, but we were very pleased at the quality of the room, the shampoo, etc, the fact of having a good size refrigerator with freezer, etc. The staff were very helpful and nice too. We will look to stay at Best Western hotels in the future."

"This place is ideally located on edge of town. Very quiet, very clean and comfortable. Have stayed here before and would be happy to stay here again. You won't be disappointed if your looking for reasonable priced place to stay."

"The building is older and the room was small. It had a full bed with a twin over it. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless. The door opened to the outside with parking directly in front of the door. It's the perfect size for 1 or 2 people, crowded for 3. The office staff was very helpful. Very conveniently located close to the beach."

"The solarium and hot tub was a good distance away and was just a green house. I may have misunderstood when booking,but they made it seem like it was a part of the cabin.( the entire reason I spent $400 for one night) it was hard lugging my luggage to the cabin do to the railroad tie stairs being so far apart. "Wow, what a gorgeous room with a gorgeous view! This space was restful and very comfortable, absolutely perfect for our stay on the Spit. Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean."

"The kitchen was not what we were expecting and it was tough with the only sink being the kitchen sink for the cabin and keeping hair and grooming items away from food."

"Wonderful view! Nice, roomy unit. Two issues. 1. Couldn’t figure out how to use the tv. Searching said no channels found. 2. Unit description online showed “kitchen”. There was a little fridge in the room with a microwave on top. That’s not a kitchen."

"Marie was an excellent host and wealth of knowledge as to what to see,do,and eat while in Homer. And her breakfasts were spectacular!! Loved the homemade fresh jams, jellies, and syrups. The room and restroom was spacious and clean. Probably the best view from the deck balcony that we have seen in a number of years. We highly recommend the Majestic B&B for the perfect stay while in Homer, Alaska."

"It's a beautiful cabin, either new or just updated. It only had 1 bed and an uncomfortable pullout couch, which i didn't find 100% clear in the listing. The bathroom sink wouldn't drain. The best part was the location, being right by the lake. We sat by the water and watched at least 25 planes take off and land! They provide ear plugs and sleep masks which are required because the door doesn't have a curtain to block the light."

"We like everything about this property! We travel extensively and I really believe this host offered the “little” details possible. A small candy dish, a booklet full of local information, soft towels, make up towels, nice shower heads, coffee products, etc…. We enjoyed the balcony, recliners and soft bed. Nearby float planes coming and going did make noise that could bother some, but we know those sounds are the price of adventure for others, overall this is a great place to stay!"
