The Lion Hotel Shrewsbury
Superb location in the town centre, parking and warm welcome from staff. I think the overly warm room and inability to turn the temperature down is a small issue but could be an asset when the weather outside gets really cold. 3rd time returning so they are obviously doing a lot of things right.

The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book ...
