The house is beautiful! Very calming, relaxing and peaceful. The view was a making too!
Very easy! The owners were very kind and their little dogs were cute. Definitely recommend if you're looking to get away from all the hustle and bustle.

Lovely apartment on the river and very restful

Perfect Get Away!
The property was so beautiful. The way everything was decorated was perfect!. Their dogs were adorable and hilarious! ♥️ We will be back everything was so nice! Right off the water, and there were turtles 🐢 at least 15 in the water. So Cute!!! Thank you so much for everything!!

Heaven on the River
We enjoyed every single thing about the cabin, she definitely goes above and beyond! From plenty of space and coffees and even women products and bath bombs! The place was very clean and open and the view was spectacular. I needed hairspray last minute for a wedding and she was so nice and let me borrow hers! We loved it and appreciate her hospitality.

Beautiful little spot on the river
My wife and I stayed for our anniversary and it was great! The little bungalow is right next door to the owners home, but we never felt we had a lack of privacy. When we did meet them they were lovely and had two cute little Yorkers. If you’re looking for a cozy and quiet getaway you can’t beat this for the price!!!

Beautiful place, lovely decor
This was a beautiful place to stay the views of the river were very nice and loved the décor.. Our 2 adult sons came with us last minute for the family reunion. The 2 pull outs worked well for them. The only reason i rated the description a 4 and it might have been my mistake was it said 1 bedroom which i thought would be a true bedroom but it was all an open space loft type. It worked out fine and would stay again if we made it back. Vicki was wonderful to work with and made everything very easy to navigate getting in.

Lux in Seguin
I loved this VRBO so much. I am a local to Seguin & ended up renting for the night before the wedding and my wedding night. The property its self was so much more beautiful then the photos. The spot is perfect to relax and get away while staying local. Love the natural light it gives and the lux vibe. Enjoyed it so much and will be recommending to others.

Beautiful Riverfront B&B
This is a beautiful, quiet location right on the Guadalupe River. Unfortunately it rained the whole time we were there and the river was at the top of it's banks but it didn't diminish the beauty. We highly recommend.

Great stay
This was a great stay! Vicki was extremely responsive, accommodating and friendly. She provided recommendations and was a great host. The property itself is fantastic. It was charming, clean, bed was comfy and right on the river. We had kayaks delivered and went in the morning and it was phenomenal! Vicki and her husband gave us plenty of privacy (they live right next door so you might see them during your stay if you wanted complete isolation). Overall a wonderful stay that I would highly recommend.

Gorgeous place on the river!
We loved staying in this beautiful cottage in the trees; it was even nicer than it looked in the photos! The owners left everything set up perfectly, and (as appropriate in these COVID19 times) let us have our space and just enjoy our time on the river. We'll be back!

Great stay and location!
My wife and I were even more impressed with the cottage when we walked in and loved the location. We felt very comfortable and loved the beautiful views from the deck and through the windows. Vicki and her husband (owners) are on the site and very accommodating . Thanks for a wonderful weekend stay!

Great place to stay
I used this place for my vacation with my wife and son. We fished here and caught some very big ones. The only thing that could be better is more room near the river. There is a lot of overgrown grass and trees near here. If this were to be cleaned up a bit it would allow more areas for swim/fishing/etc. We liked the neighborhood, it was peaceful and just about 30 minutes away from NB and San Antonio wasn’t too much further. All in all it was a nice place to stay.

Perfect Home Base
We needed a place to base from to do all things San Antonio, Austin, and New Braunfels and this cottage was perfect! Vicki and her family were wonderful and as accommodating as you could ever hope for! The cottage is well appointed and even more stylish in person than on the listing. It is a studio with not a lot of privacy within so probably best for a couple or family with small kids (it was us and our 5 yo) but would be insufficient for 2 couples, IMO (and I think this is made clear in her listing as well). Our daughter loved the cot and said it was so comfy she wanted to stay there forever! Overall, we would recommend this cottage to anyone looking to stay in or near Seguin!

Gorgeous Guest House
The guest house was very pretty and a nice place to stay for my boyfriend and I’s Anniversary. There are a few things I wish we knew ahead of time, ONE, the river access is shared with the neighbor and while we were there a bunch of college kids were staying at the house next door and were very inconsiderate to that fact that the steps were narrow and other people needed to use them too. TWO, the main house is RIGHT next to the windows of the guest house so you walk past their living room every time you go to the guest house. THREE, the guest house had a TON of windows which were covered with very thin curtains so you could see right outside and the sunlight lit up the whole room every morning which cause for a lack of sleeping in. The porch lights were also always on so falling a sleep was slightly difficult as well. The town is very nice but I noticed there wasn’t a ton of things to do unless you drove 30+ minuets to San Marcos or New Braunfels. The guest house was pretty clean and the bed was SUPER comfy. Once you get over the fact that the owners are right next door, it’s a nice place for a quick getaway.

Hello! Thank you for the review. I would like to clarify a couple of things. Our neighbor graciously allows us to use their walkway to the river as our property does not have access yet. We can't control other's manners, wish we could! The main house is next door to the cottage and guests walk by our front door which does have a window, but we strive to give our guests all the privacy they need. It does state in our description that we live on the property. Our home is designed to capture nature's beauty with large, beautiful picture windows so, yes, there is lots of light. Since we live here, turning off porch lights is never a problem. This is something a quick text to me will fix! Seguin is a beautiful old town that is be reenergized with new restaurants and has a beautiful park with walking trails and of course, the river. Many guests have commented they like the fact that it feels like a getaway and yet, it is short trip to New Braunfels and surrounding areas. I hope this clarifies things a bit, our goal is to ensure our guests have a wonderful stay!

Beautiful Guadalupe River Get Away
Wonderful cottage just steps from the the river. Beautiful decor, new with all the amenities; kind of a Hawaiian theme. The owner proved nice little extras, this is a class place. The owners are next door and very friendly, yet unobtrusive. The area gives the appearance and feel of being in the country by the river, but it’s only minutes from the beautiful historic downtown Seguin and a few minutes the the other direction to the “new” commercial area, Walmart, Major chain restaurants, etcetera. Get place, great location, great host.

Gorgeous guest house, right on the river!
The house is a guest house, adjacent the main house on the property. It is beautiful and wonderfully decorated. Loft style interior (one big room, wonderfully comfy bed). Gorgeous bathroom with footed tub and shower. The kitchenette is stocked with snacks and waters (mini fridge, microwave, and large toaster oven). If we had any questions, Vicki was quick to respond. I cannot recommend it highly enough! A friend and I stayed there over TLU's alumni weekend. The location was close to campus. Perfect for our trip. Will absolutely stay there again if we're ever in town.

Lovely River Cottage
Our small family had a wonderful stay at Vicki's guest cottage. The large, luxurious bath and shower, picture windows and open airiness of the place made our stay comfortable and relaxing. The kitchenette is small and not geared up for big cooking, but we had ample supplies to make simple breakfasts (she even supplied us with Keuring coffee pods) and dinners. Their location on the river is quiet and lovely. We were able to get right into the water via a boardwalk on the adjacent property, although I believe this is dependent on whether there are guests staying at the neighboring house. You could theoretically float the river from here in tubes, but I'm not sure how that would work without a planned point of exit and transportation back to the cottage. We tried to tube in Seguin during our stay, based on the great reviews for the nearby tubing at the Power Plant, but low water levels were at a "no float" status, so we drove to New Braunfels and beyond to float the Comal and Guadalupe. Vicki was a friendly host and very respectful of our privacy and comfort. She responded quickly and graciously to our questions and requests. Her house is right next door, but we were barely aware of anyone being around and mostly felt like we had the place to ourselves. We will definitely be back and will recommend this place to friends.

Great Little cottage!! Excellent location!!
This little cottage is in front of the river. We spent all day there without even needing go somewhere else. The kids loved doing stand up paddle there. The water is calm and great for swimming. The owners are so nice and helpful to give ideas where to go. The house is also very close to the main tubing place like a 5 min drive. This is a great location to relax and enjoy nature without been crowed with the tubes. I will defenitly go back. We had our own stand up paddle and tubes.
