"It was my sister and I that stayed at the cottage for a week at the end of September. The cottage was small and cozy, which is what we like. We had a beautiful week of great weather and we loved the fact that the cottage was on a wetland. We like to swim if we can, but we enjoyed the water fowl very much. Geese and ducks and even herons. It was a very pretty spot. We arrived a little early and the owner was still there and it was very nice to meet her. A great stay all around. Judy."

"We were 5 friends getting together for a couple of days to relax and get caught up with each other. This property met all our expectations; it was clean, comfortable, beautiful decor, comfy beds, soaking tub and walk in shower, amazing view of the fall colours and river and so much more. Sitting by our night time campfire roasting hot dogs and marshmallows was definitely a highlight of our visit. We will be definitively booking again."

"Courtney was spot-on when she described the property in her listing. This place was PERFECT for the weekend my friends and I had planned. Unbelievable sunsets over the St. Lawrence from their HUGE entertainment deck. We were able to enjoy a campfire each night that was tended to by the property managers. The full-size sand volleyball court provided entertainment for hours. 2 full kitchens and BBQs allowed our group to cook for 12 people with no delays. I could go on and on. If you are looking...

"The cottage and the area are lovely. Loved the hot tub and the dock. The cottage could use some maintenance though. Broken bed. I know you said that you have ordered a new one. Very uncomfortable mattresses. Broken microwave handle. Door off the sunroom sticks badly. If these were all fixed I would come back and / or recommend to friends."

"It was a beautiful spot. A few helpful tips for the owner… print off a book for renters, (sent a pdf didn’t print it off ) some of the information was missing, didn’t know it was a gas bbq, where to find light switches for the rooms. had to search around for hand towels etc."

"This house totally served our needs and we had a very enjoyable time. We sat outside and had a fire in the fire pit on two evenings. We had 16 people and the house really lends itself to entertaining... very interesting areas in the house. Everyone enjoyed themselves. The property could be spectacular with some badly needed TLC."

"The house had a well stocked kitchen for dishes,etc. we did find the fridge a bit small. There were plenty of linens and towels. All the bedrooms are a good size. Pretty location. You can also park in front of the house, which we didn’t know until we unloaded our vehicles. Right next to the local store and LCBO. Wonderful coffee shop a walk away. Very pretty little town"

"This stackwall building was warm and comfortable for a mid January stay. We had a great time cooking up a birthday celebration and the snowstorm outside was not a issue. Our driveway and the lane to the main road were cleared completely. The place is cozy and inviting."

"Great check-in and wonderful front desk support throughout our stay. Linens were new and clean, bathroom was a bit smaller than expected, but the cleanliness more than made up for the size. My only big concern was the hot-tub which was oddly connected to the pool and was a different color water--the paint around the border of the pool was also wearing away which just gave the whole place a more dejected vibe. But the pool towels and fabulous breakfast made any worried about the hot-tub dissolve."
