"The rustic look and feel of the house was wonderful. It was exactly as the pictures showed. Also the games room in the basement is very nice to have. In particular we enjoyed the pool table. The location and property are very quiet which we appreciated. The town was small but we still had a chance to explore, and also enjoyed a hiking next to a waterfall about a 15 minute drive from the propery. Overall we had a good experience."

"This was our first time stay here and it was a great experience. We had 12 adults there were enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. We also had 4 boats and it was a little tight at the docks, but we were able to make it work. Very nice area. The water was a little rough at the docks over the weekend with all the boats going by. It did settle down during the week. You can tell they have been working on the house to improve it. "

"This property is incredible. It’s a smaller but cute and comfortable cottage. It was clean and they were very accommodating to us. The hosts were friendly and ready to help. It’s hidden in the trees but not too remote either! With wifi included it was a comfortable stay. We were able to see multiple deers around the property and felt very safe. There was little to no bugs surprisingly! The lake is a 30 second walk where you can enjoy fishing. We were able to catch a couple different bass and it...

"This location was excellent. We were a big group with kids and had more than enough space. The backyard was great for the kids, bonfire and space to play games, and a good dock to dock our boat. Great communication with the host and very clean. Would recommend this place. "

"Awesome property for a group of friends trying to hangout and have a good time. Owner was super helpful and understanding on various matters. Great beach access, where you can swim to various different islands and do cliff jumping. As you can see in the photo, there was also a water trampoline which the owners allowed us to use. "This place is just a lot less glamorous than the listing would imply. We had 9 adults in our group but this cabin only sleeps 6 max. So we had to rent a second cabin for full price. The manager was helpful tho and answered our questions. "

"Basic cottage. We appreciated air conditioning and view. Exterior chairs where all broken, had to wash dishes, dirty floors. BBQ had no grill so took neighbors, was rusty and very dirty. Can not swim as mentioned. Only for fishing. There is a beach at a waking distance but not nice to swim in, small and weeds. Good place to fish if this is your intention. Fast response when communicating. Will ask you to sign a discharge right at the beginning which is not a good sign. Can’t get refund. Not as...

"Great communication with host. View onto the lake is stunning. Plenty of furniture outside to enjoy the view. Location is pretty central to Wendy’s Market, Elgin and Westport to stock up on groceries. House had all we needed (laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, clean towels/linens. AC was nice to have as it was hot during our stay. House was cleaned nicely for our arrival. "

"My wife and I had a great stay for our anniversary weekend! Beautiful private island with lots of yard space for the dog to run around! The cottage has everything you need and lots of seating both indoors and out. We especially loved the access to the boathouse keeping our boat protected from the elements! A short trip to the Ivy Restaurant gave us a break from cooking responsibilities for a night and provided a beautiful view looking back toward the island. We had an amazing stay and can’t wait...
