This was a beautiful place to stay. Very comfortable and appointed with anything you might need. Very quiet neighborhood with lovely spaces outside to sit and visit. I would definitely recommend this property!

This house is very well equipped and everything is of top quality. The beds are super-comfy. The backyard is very pleasant. High quality towels are provided. The hot tub is nice. The front of the house has a beautiful view. The little nook there does not have furniture. That would be a nice addition. The only other minor suggestion would be some darker shades for the master bedroom. The sun comes up very early! It wasn’t an issue though since we stayed on east coast time. The kitchen is well equipped and the grill is very nice. Eating out on Sedona is expensive. We cooked in 6 out of seven nights. The home is conveniently located close to grocery stores. There is a hidden trailhead right next door. It’s great for a quick hike. All in all, this home is a wonderful place in a quiet neighborhood and we highly recommend it.

What a beautiful home, quiet neighborhood, and even better views! Our family of 5 really enjoyed this home and its spacious layout. The home was extremely clean, hot tub was perfect during the “cold” spell, and conveniently located near trails, restaurants and grocery stores (Sedonuts is less than 5 minutes away!) We would most definitely stay at this home again!

Beautiful house with a great view from the living room, located in a quiet neighborhood. Our dog also gives it a ten, especially the back yard. It was spotless on arrival and everything worked. We’ve been renting VRBO houses for many years and this one is vying for the #1 rating. Thank you to the host for offering such a beautiful property.

This home shows well in the pictures, but it's actually even better in person! Very clean, high end furnishings, quality all around. Gorgeous views from the front and a peaceful, private, quiet, fully fenced back yard. My fav might be stargazing into the dark sky from the hot tub at night! Many trails right from the back yard and with easy access starting by the end of the driveway. Private location on a cul-de-sac. Close to Airport Mesa (vortex).

Home was wonderful - clean, beds super comfortable, great back yard (we did not use the hot tub), kitchen well stocked for cooking, top of the line laundry. Loved that it's right at a trail that winds up and through Airport Vortex area! Location was fantastic - easy to get into other areas of Sedona, but not right in the middle of hustle and bustle. Will absolutely return on our next adventure in Sedona!

I loved sitting on the front porch or in the living room to enjoy the view … Especially at sunset! The house is spacious and comfortable with easy access to all the trails and restaurants. My family had a very cozy and relaxing vacation.

We had such an amazing time at this house in Sedona! The location is perfect and the accommodations were excellent! Check in was easy and communicating with the property manager was first rate! Let me start by saying the Sedona rental exceeded all our expectations! The wow factor of the home was truly remarkable. We chose this rental because, among the many options in Sedona, this one stood out for its cleanliness and décor, which perfectly matched the Sedona vibe. Initially, I was concerned about the lack of an expansive view in the backyard, but the front view more than compensated for it—it was absolutely breathtaking! The view from the front of the house left us speechless every time we saw it, visible from almost every room, especially through the giant windows in the family room and master bedroom. The house was even cleaner and more beautiful than the pictures suggested. The location was perfect. Not knowing much about Sedona, we weren't sure whether to choose West Sedona, Central Sedona, or South. If you don't mind a short 5-minute drive to the heart of shopping and dining, this place is ideal. West Sedona is quieter, and the shops are a bit nicer. Plus, there's a grocery store and Sedonuts within walking distance! We felt very fortunate to end up in what we thought was the best location in Sedona. The backyard was perfect for peaceful and private grilling, playing, star gazing, photographing the many exotic plants, and, of course, relaxing in the well-maintained and luxurious hot tub. The house has fantastic views, a peaceful and relaxing backyard, and an incredible location. Endless trails are literally right out the door. The master bedroom is especially nice. Being in West Sedona away from the crowds is ideal. We can't wait to stay here again. It's even better than it looks in the listing.

Absolutely perfect home with Amazing backyard Oasis in West Sedona. Close to everything yet secluded with fantastic views. Feels like you are miles from town, yet you can easily walk to stores and restaurants. Views from every window! House itself is beautiful and well-stocked with everything we needed and more. Will definitely rent this home again.

We would absolutely return again to this property. It was clean and spacious (both house and yard), close to West Sedona conveniences, and quietly situated next to Coconino National Forest/Carroll Canyon area. The view from the front of the house across the way to Capital Butte was amazing. We are an active family of four. It was great to access the trails for hiking and mountain biking from our front door or drive for a few minutes to any number of excellent trailheads, sights, and activities. The house offered a beautiful and quiet refuge for downtime. The landscape of Sedona is stunning and a dramatic change from that of New England. We are so grateful for the chance to visit and explore such a different corner of our country. Sedona House of the Rising Sun was the perfect home base for us.

The "House of the Rising Sun" property was a beautiful, spacious stay. It can easily accommodate an entire family or group for any duration of time. The house is located on the edge of town, but close enough to walk to downtown if you would like. There's a hiking and biking trailhead just down the street with some incredible views which is definitely worth the hike. It's nice and secluded, with an excellent view of Sedona's scenery. The included book of trails of the area accompanied by a yearly Red Rock Pass was very hospitable and a pleasant surprise! One easily feels right at home. The property is in great condition and is well maintained. Inside there is a well connected kitchen, living, and dining area. We really appreciated how the kitchen was designed, it had all cookware and utensils you may need to cook anything and set a full table. The dishwasher along with the washer and dryer are in excellent working condition which was a huge help because of all the time we spent outdoors during our stay.
