Located in one of the quietest neighborhoods on the south side of Sedona. Just a 5 min drive to all the amenities, cafes, restaurants and grocery store in the Village of Oak Creek, along with hiking trails like Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock and more. This cozy cottage is a perfect retreat, complete with starlight, solitude, and direct trail access to the Coconino National Forest.

The expansive private back yard invites peaceful enjoyment of nature with a red rock backdrop. At night, enjoy star gazing while grilling up a delicious dinner or cozied up next to the firepit. During the day, follow your inner compass out onto the forestry land and explore to your heartā€™s content.

Inside the Cottage there is ample space for two. From the queen-sized master ensuite with an additional full bathroom adjacent, to the open plan kitchen and dining room that leads into a cozy living room with expansive glass double doors and floor to ceiling windows on both sides. In the morning, the front deck invites you to sit and catch the earliest rays of sun, and in the evening, enjoy the privacy of the back patio and watch the sunset glow on Lee Mountain just beyond the fence.

Donā€™t miss the opportunity to curl up on the sofa under the weighted blanket and watch TV or gaze out at the red rocks from our meditation chair. Another charming aspect of the Cottage is the skylight over the bed, perfect for stargazing as you fall asleep.

The Cottage is close to the Village of Oak Creek (5 mins drive) and everything Sedona has to offer, or you can stay home and feel like you're in the middle of your own red rock paradise, which makes it a perfect escape.


Please be advised we have one exterior security camera at the front of the property and there is one locked room inside the house that is not included in the rental. It is not mentioned above.

Oak Creek at West Sedona

We were looking for a place cooler than Phoenix with a great view and a peaceful neighborhood, and this property exceeded all expectations. The home offers a breathtaking, unobstructed view of Lee Mountain w/Rabbit Ears which was a standout feature. The house itself is a beautifully remodeled older property, well-stocked with more kitchen appliances and utensils than we've encountered in other VRBOs. All living areas were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished.The Master Bedroom was spacious, light, and airy, offering a fantastic retreat. The two full baths were stocked with towels, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, making for a comfortable stay.The host was exceptionalā€”attentive and responsive to our questions, and proactive with welcome information and recommendations for fun places to visit with our Jeep. With a background in hospitality, the hostā€™s attention to detail was evident throughout our stay. Highly recommended, and weā€™ll definitely be staying here again.

One of the Most Magical Stays

This home was easily in the top three best places my husband and I have stayed. Everything was clean, tidy, and super cozy. The backyard with access to a quiet trail is a dream. Our host was so kind and helpful - in addition to providing prompt support for all questions, he also provided lots of local recommendations and suggestions for getting the most out of our visit. All around a five star experience - it was awesome. If we ever travel back to Sedona, I am hopeful to stay there again.

Red Rock Views is awesome!!! The perfect base for exploring Oak Creek and Sedona. House is immaculate, and fully furnished. Clark's Market is a great grocery store only 2 minutes away, very easy to get to. Property has a gate, neighborhood is quiet and very nice. Access to trails right out the blue back gate. Lots of great hiking less than a half-hour away. Chris is a wonderful host! Responds immediately, very helpful with anything you need. Knows *everything* about local trails, restaurants, and other sites not on the map. Even gives advice on traffic. Super nice guy! This is the place to stay if you want to enjoy Oak Creek & Sedona, don't look anywhere else. It really is the perfect escape. Can't recommend it highly enough. I wish we were still there. We will definitely return.

Donā€™t look any further!

This is literally the perfect property. Located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood while still being close to all of the sites you want to see. The house is exceedingly comfortable, and as a curly haired girl, I was ecstatic to find a diffuser was with the hairdryer! We sat outside on the backyard patio every day and took a little hike at the back of the property. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable, and Chris provided us with lots of information about the area. I would not hesitate to book again! I would love to have the chance to come back to the area and stay at this beautiful property. Do I have a photo?

Quiet Bliss

Our view was a complete surprise as we got there late. Woke up to stunning view of the Munns (?) range in the backyard! Sooo quiet & peaceful. Close to all of our adventures. The blue gate lead us to a hiking trail of the Coconino Range. The home had everything we needed. Truly looks just like the photos but better. Chris was just a text away when I had questions. Your Best Choice IMHO

This is perhaps the best summation of our experience: Halfway through our stay, we booked for next year. Absolutely no need to look further!Years ago, I said the ideal getaway is a place where "You can see the Milky Way and not hear the highway." This warm, well equipped home off the beaten path fills the bill - and then some. Add in red rock vistas, uncrowded trails nearby, and easy access to Sedona. Plus a great host who is very responsive, but never intrusive.For us, it doesn't get better than this.

Wonderful!!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Red Rock Views in Sedona The house was very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals and to be comfortable. The bed was especially comfy and watching the stars through the skylight was a special treat. The neighbor is very quiet and there is no light pollution at night to interfere with stargazing. Hiking the trails behind the house was really nice and has some beautiful views. We only saw one other couple during one of our hikes back there. They were friendly and said they live in the neighborhood. Chris was very helpful with restaurants suggestions and with giving us directions to less crowded hiking trails that were amazing! We hope we will have an opportunity to visit the area again and if so, we definitely plan to stay at Red Rock Views again!

Perfect location

This cottage was exactly as described and was a perfect location for my husband and I to enjoy in a quiet neighborhood. We were close to lots of hiking yet not in a busy area. This home did not disappoint. The pictures could not do justice for the beauty of this home and the area. We stayed here for three weeks and the host, Chris, could not have been more accommodating. Charming home and peaceful stay

This home was absolutely charming! It was so peaceful and a nice retreat. And Chris was such an attentive host down to every detail. During my stay we had some windy nights but he reached out to make sure everything was fine at the house. This was one of the best rental experiences I have ever had and I hope to be able to return some day. Highly recommend!

Quiet neighborhood at the edge of wilderness

When you say you're visiting Sedona, it can cover a lot of areas, neighorhoods, sections. Whether you're connecting with nature or spirituality, you can expect to bounce around town bit. Chris' place is in Oak Creek, south of the main drag of Sedona, but close to some major attractions that fit any trip. The house is warm, welcoming, and a great HQ for a visit. What I loved the most is that you could simply walk out from the backyard and find yourself up close and personal to some beautiful rock formations, cliffs, and views after a brief walk. Especially having visited during a peak time (winter holidays), trailheads can be parked full by 9A -- and that could be after a 45 min drive to your ideal hike!On our last day we noticed some wild pigs playing just beyond the property fence line. We followed them for a bit and continued on once they got bored of us, scaling some small boulders and hills to find ourselves all alone with gorgeous views. I can't express enough how amazing it is to have a private trail right to the back door.

Best Vacation!

Of all the vacations weā€™ve taken in various locations, this is our favorite. If youā€™d like to hike and the outdoors, then this is perfect set up for you. Chris, the host and his wife have been stellar in setting up this house for guests. Itā€™s perfect for a couple and I had every amenity you could ever ask for. We will be returning here again and again. The view out there back is incredible to wake up to. Thereā€™s a skylight above the bed and you can see the stars since you lay in bed at night above you. I canā€™t say enough good things about this place. You wonā€™t be disappointed.

IT'S PERFECT!

This gem of a getaway could not possibly be more perfect! I chose it for a solo weekend personal retreat, and it was heaven. The location is gorgeous and tranquil, tucked away at the back of the neighborhood, with a huge back yard adjacent to national park space, with a big red hill in sight. The house itself is simply and elegantly furnished, with many touches for beauty and comfort. The living room is spacious and serene; the kitchen nicely stocked; bathrooms very clean; and bed comfortable even for my whiny back. The neighborhood is extremely quiet, there are houses around but you can't really see them, most sounds are birds and gentle wind chimes. There are tons of birds to watch, as well as a rabbit that drops by in the evenings and some other small wildlife. Despite the seclusion, the stores, restaurants, and activities of Oak Creek are just a few minutes' drive away, and Sedona proper is maybe 15 minutes up the road. Chris and Sara were gracious, helpful, responsive hosts, making sure I had everything needed and pointing me toward some great activities (the trail out the blue gate is phenomenal; look for stone-pile guideposts, and turn around and take a picture at open spaces so you know how to get back). Check in was really easy with a customized lock code on the door. Ideal for a single traveler, like me, or a couple. I do not have a single negative thing to say. Thank you so much, Chris and Sara, for sharing your lovely little home!

Lovely Little Getaway

This was our first visit to the Sedona area and this place was the perfect little place for our short stay. It was clean, comfortable, and had good indoor and outdoor space. The cottage was cozy and thoughtfully decorated. The red rock backdrop was a beautifully dramatic setting to wake up to each morning. Chris was a thoughtful and responsive host, and even lent us his own personal coffee grinder to use for our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

5 Stars isnt enough!

Everything about this property is beyond 5 stars! Location is perfect. Hike out your back door, no crowds! Excellent hosts with timely and helpful communications. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.
