A river runs through. Private Estate on OAK CREEK! Pickleball Court in backyard!

Casa De La Luna is a paradise within a paradise! Our house sits on 2 heavily wooded acres with 180 feet of Oak Creek running right through it. Enjoy some hammock time in the sycamores in-between dinks on our brand new private pickleball court, yes it’s right in the back yard! Don’t forget to strike up a game of horseshoes or croquet in-between hikes and bike rides, and please don’t forget to cap off the day with smores and stories at the creek side fire pit.
The layout provides the following: The 'Tree Top Suite' is located on the upper level with an adjoining full bathroom, balcony overlooking the creek, open loft/den with a full size bed and extra futon mattress under the bed, entertainment center with TV and DVD, board games, bay window with custom cushions, & additional seating area. Main floor has 3 Bdrms: 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Twins, fold out queen sofa with foam topper for comfort. Two additional twin blow-up mattresses and bedding. Kitchen equipped to accommodate 10+ dining, commercial refrigerator/freezer, over-sized pantry, warming drawer, flat-top stove with indoor grill, outdoor BBQ, Outdoor portable bar. This home is meant for entertaining and relaxing! The custom aspen table in formal dining area can host 8-10, the open kitchen bar for 4, casual dining off kitchen for 4, outside 8 person table and on same deck, picnic table for 6-8 people.
The home is surrounded by amazing hiking trails, swimming holes, and wildlife. The fully fenced lawn lends to additional peace of mind for children and unwanted wildlife. Brand new Pickle Ball Court in the yard!

A wonderful home with large and spacious living room space and perfect amount of rooms and beds for our two families to be completely comfortable. There were plenty of bathrooms as well. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked for our use. We cooked all breakfasts and a couple of dinners. The location was perfect: near Sedona but away from the hustle and bustle so we could fully relax. The outside was very nice and we enjoyed walking around the property which was wooded and had a vibrant creek in back (especially after the rain). Appreciated the well labeled light switches! Didn’t have a chance to use the pickle ball court but it looked ready to go. Would definitely stay again if in the area!

Great stay at Casa de la Luna! Really appreciate the small details, like including the garage remote and parking passes! Excellent secluded location, perfect size for our crew, and some fun MTB trails right from house!

Incredible place to stay. Fit 4 adults and 8 kids just fine. The creek was perfect in July, and even though AZ is horribly hot in the summer, the forest trees and creek cooled everything down so much! There was also a no burn policy in effect, so no fire pit, but that was no big deal since it was the middle of the summer. Quirky, fun, big, beautiful home and an amazing amount of outdoor area to play and explore. We also loved that there was a gate to the creek and around the whole house so the littles couldn't just wander off into the woods. I'd just suggest that the owner updates the check out time on the listing... As it says 11 am but it's actually 10 am.

Awesome Quiet Location!!

Beautiful grounds and Oak Creek access. Playground a major plus with both grandsons, 3 & 5 and fenced in property. Great floor plan with master upstairs with FULL bath/shower. Hugh BBQ on deck. Friendly communications!!

We had a great five day visit with family of 10. The house is well laid out for entertaining, and the back deck is great for early morning coffee and listening to the evening sounds. Very private. Star watching from the front deck is a must. Great place to relax with Oak Creek on your doorstep and a good jump off location for visiting the Grand Canyon and Northern Arizona. We have stayed at many vacation homes around the world and this has been one of the best. Highly recommended.

Girls trip

Six of us met in Sedona to celebrate a milestone birthday. This was the perfect location with beautiful scenery and surroundings. Loved just spending time together inside, outside on patios and playing pickleball. A very relaxing trip and not far from restaurants and other sites in Sedona. Would stay here again. Property manager was very responsive to questions just prior to arrival and while we were there.

Wonderful Experience

This property met all expectations based on previous reviews. Our family of 12 had a terrific time on this spacious lot with comfy indoor spaces. Loved the natural setting, pickleball court, gas grill, Oak Creek running through the back of property, birds singing. Lots of pots and pans, bowls, etc. Great big fridge! Easy access to caretaker Sharen. Thanks for making this property available!

Beautiful home and location

We had the best time at the property. The house was big and clean and situated in a very peaceful spot. We loved playing pickleball too! We were all adults, but it would be a great place to bring kids. Would love to stay here again!

The perfect stay

The was my first time using VRBO. We needed a place for my family to stay for my elopment weekend and I have never been so impressed with a rental accomodation before. This property was perfect for our needs, had all of the charm we needed to spend the week, and the property manager was extremely responsive and helpful. We have been talking about family trips to AZ just so we can stay at this home again - we all gave it 1000 stars <3. Thank you so much to the hostesses for giving us this beautiful opportunity to take in Arizona as it should be!

Magic under the stars

This is the second time our group has stayed here, and we HIGHLY recommend this house. Just a few steps outside is the most magical creek, adding to the charm of the property. The whole place is meticulously maintained with so much love. There's plenty of beautiful grass where we spent a lot of time relaxing. Our group especially loved the pickleball court and spent hours enjoying it. The house is close to many delicious restaurants, and the views of the mountains driving into the property are simply magical. Sharen, the property manager, was fantastic to communicate with. If this property is available, I highly recommend booking it. We can't wait to come back next year! Thank you again for the best time!

Relaxing peaceful get away

This property was amazing! It lets you disconnect from the hustle and bustle of life! The river is gorgeous. It’s private with spectacular views at the top of the drive way. Also a great little hiking trail at the dead end of the road! We loved it

Magnificent property

We're a family of 3 generations that can't wait to return to Casa De La Luna! The journey in is breathtaking, so many outstanding photo opportunities. Then the pickleball court, backyard Oak Creek, large outdoor space with a west view of Cathedral Rock, beautiful indoor amenities, Wow! Thank you for offering this wonderful house for our family vacation, and special thanks to Sharen for great communications during our stay. We even saw 2 coyotes, nice surprise for the kids!

Great stay in Sedona - will be returning next year

This was a great property. We will be returning next year. Plenty of room for six. Pickle ball court was nice as well as fire pit, creek behind, and nice grill. If you and your friends are pickleball players (or even if you are not) you will really enjoy the place. Staying here you are just minutes away from some beautiful sites and trails. Wonderful Getaway!

Sharon (property manager) was very accommodating. She reached out to us a few times to make sure things were okay. The instructions prior to getting to the property was very detailed and timely. There was so much to do to keep 6 kids and adults occupied. The pickle ball court was a true bonus. Never played before but had a small tournament. The fire pit was amazing- had a night with S’mores. The boys loved the horse shoe pit. We ventured down the look at the swimming hole at the end of the street. Too cold to enjoy that in December/January, but enjoyed the walk. There are many little hikes around close to the property to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The town of Sedona was very busy but enjoyed a day there and then decided to go to Flagstaff. That drive is beautiful too. We used the kitchen every morning and evening, it has a large refrigerator and freezer which was great to store a weeks worth of food for ten people. The beds were comfortable. Loved the well water. Just can’t say enough about this place. Thank you for opening up your home to strangers.
