Vasquez Family Fun Thanksgiving week

Our family of ten spent our Thanksgiving week in Sedona, and this rental was ideal for accommodating all our needs. It was clean, comfortable, convenient in location, and customer service was great. We had a small glitch with our check in, but Sandra our hostess, was quick to remedy the situation, and was easy to access if we needed any assistance. I definitely recommend this property, and hopefully we will be able to return in the future.

Property location was perfect and neighborhood was nice and quiet. House is nice and spacious . We were barefoot walking around the house and our feet were dirty. Floors were not as clean as they should be. The patio area at the main house and casita were both dirty and full of leaves.

This space was lovely and quiet for our 5 day individual silent retreat. We were able to be in our own spaces and have the seclusion we needed. Very grateful for finding this location. A lovely and quiet neighbourhood as well.

Place was nice. If you advertise that 10 people can stay - it would be nice to have 10 chairs for the table. Even a couple of folding chairs would have been great. Also the blanket for the Murphy bed wasnā€™t much of a blanket. Other than those things it was very nice.

It was a great weekend stay. Excellent location and there was room for everyone. Only small downfall is there were quite a few spiders we had to kill inside the house. Overall we loved it and would come back again.

PERFECT LOCATION, interesting home

This house in located IN THE PERFECT SPOT! Everything is nearby (you could walk to Wholefoods) and the sunsets are breath taking. Couldnā€™t have been happier with the location. The house is a bit weird though and it didnā€™t suit our needs the way I imagined it would have. First, the Casita is COMPLETELY blocked off from the rest of the house. Almost like itā€™s a separate rental. You canā€™t even share outdoor space with the people in it and for them to come I to the main house they have to go through a gate and walk around to the front door. So, it was a bit awkward. And one of the bathrooms listed is in the Casita. So really the main house, which sleeps EIGHT, only has two bathrooms, one of which is sequestered in the Master bathroom. So for SIX PEOPLE, there is really only one bathroom. My party wasnā€™t that big so it wasnā€™t a problem, but larger parties should take note of this. The living room furniture isnā€™t very comfortable. And there isnā€™t very much of it! Thereā€™s just one big couch. Thatā€™s it. No chairs or even a carpet to make the living room cozy. Weird. It felt more like a movie set (itā€™s very attractive) but it didnā€™t feel like home. And the patio lights didnā€™t work the whole time we were there. Management did come and put a new light bulb in so one worked by mid stay but the rest of the yard was pitch black at night, which wasnā€™t comfortable because we had a dog. I canā€™t say it was the worst experience Iā€™ve ever had, be said over all it was pleasant. But it does miss the mark in a lot of ways. Perhaps because itā€™s run by a Management company and not an owner directly, it feels more like a hotel than a home stay. There was no real welcome, and supplies were bleak. Iā€™ve had home owners leave bottles of wine, or cookies and bottled water to welcome guests. With this, you get instructions and rules. Which felt sterile. And things weā€™re definitely clean and modern. Absolutely. It just wasnā€™t home away from home.
