"Amazing property . Loved the carved wood ceilings and wood panelled walls not to mention the secret door. Never seen so many books outside a library. unfortunately didn’t stay long enough to read any. Also a vast selection of DVDs. The communal lounge was magnificent, we didn’t use it but were very impressed. The rest of our accommodation housed everything we needed and was clean and functional. "A different day a different walk straight from the door. Just what we wanted! Beauty all around, on the doorstep. Swim in a gorgeous tarn 10 mins walk away. And when you need some R & R there’s a well equipped kitchen and a comfy bed in v tranquil setting, listening to the resident owl. Thank so much!"

"Unfortunately we were not offered the two bedroom apartment we had booked, instead we were offered a one bed apartment with a sofa bed. The sofa bed was very hard and not suitable for two people, not even children. We requested a partial refund for this and were assured we were entitled to one but this has not been received. "Very spacious flat equipped with everything you need. Only issue waz that the electric fire didnt work and no brush to be able to sweep up after walking . Shower was fab! Very central to windermere and 20 min walk to bowness . Very cosy place"
