"Very lovely, roomy home, supplied with just about everything a family would want or need. Nice big yard, great beach - would be awesome for younger children - and a gigantic lakeside deck plus another large deck on the other side of the house. The owner was very congenial, helpful and easy to reach if needed. Lake Buchanan is good for pan fish (sunnies, fun especially for children to catch) crappies, blue gills, walleye, bass & northern! Our family had a wonderful time there!!"

"Very nice home, needed a few more items in the kitchen, one bedroom had a bad mattress but we made due by shifting people around. Nice location, amazing hosts, we would stay here again. Highly recommend it for large groups. "

"Beautiful cabin with a great view of the lake. Lots of fun things for the kids to do. Was well equipped with baby items like pack n play, booster chair, and baby gates. Big kitchen and dining area. Also enjoyed Park Rapids, and Zorbaz on Small Sand Lake is a fun stop. "

"Omg we LOVED our stay! It was so nice! Kitchen was packed with everything you would need to cook a big meal. So many towels!- we only needed to do a couple loads of laundry for the pool towels. The bedrooms were huge and the beds were super comfy! The pool was so lovely- felt a little chilly to some of the guests but I found it to be refreshing and I could always warm up in the hot tub. "We enjoyed another great stay at Odie’s Place. Plenty of space for everyone on three levels with a view that can’t be beat. They have thought of everything you need in the kitchen and the extra fridge/freezer in the garage comes in handy. The beach area is great for reading, floating/paddle boarding and camp fires. "Great place for our large extended family. Sleeping areas are mostly separated off from high traffic areas which helped a lot with our littles. Nice sandy beach with slow sandy drop off for kids wading. Nice quiet protected spot on the river/resivour with the big lake not too far of a boat ride. "
