Welcome to The Yeti Hut!

Welcome to The Yeti Hut! This is an adorable private backyard cottage in one of Seattle's most desirable locations. Yeti Hut has a WALKING SCORE OF 91!! The home is located one block north of University Village and within walking distance of Husky Stadium, light rail, and University of Washington. Bedrooms and main bath are located on the 1st floor. There is a custom garage door on the 2nd Floor open concept living and dining area. Spiral Staircase to a loft and a beautiful view of Mount Rainier! We built this house in 2011 and just completed a major renovation in early 2023.

Fabulous, clean and modern home - perfect for a couple or small family. Super comfortable beds and nice linens. Home is in a quiet neighborhood very accessible to great shopping and restaurants. Loved our stay at this location!

My daughter and I had a great time. I love the location and the place is perfect. Walking distance to everything we wanted to see and with the village right there shopping was easy too. We will definitely be back!

The Yeti Hut is perfect! Clean and modern - everything seems brand new. Linens and towels all were very high quality. Lots of extras in kitchen that made it easy to cook and stay in for most of our meals. Check in was seamless. We will definitely stay again!

We loved the Yeti Hut! It was clean and very organized. Kitchen had everything we needed for our long weekend. The double shower setup in the lower level bathroom was very clever and convenient. Bri was very quick to reply to messages and answer questions. Check out was very easy. Will look to stay here again when we come back to UW!

This property was perfect for our visit as it was within walking distance of workshops on the UW campus, and a short ride to evening events. It was bright, clean, great amenities, air conditioned, and everyone said the bedding was amazingly comfortable. Would totally book again.

Yeti Hut has lots of fun decor and thoughtful details including an area just for kids. The beds were way more comfortable than many places we've stayed. The area is great: reasonably quiet, close to major highways and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. A terrific bagel shop is just two doors down. If we're ever in Seattle again, we hope to stay here.

The location of this place is terrific. You can walk to bagels, coffee, the Burke Gilman trail and U Village. It is just enough off the path that you don't get caught in trafffic. Having the driveway parking is helpful too. The space is verticle so you can separate a bit if you want to watch different shows etc. The top loft space access with the spiral staircase is a bit tricky but the pac man machine waiting up there makes it worth it. The kitchen is well stocked and the decor through out is fun, it feels geared to a tourist making it feel more like a vacation. Great place and very responsive hosts, we would stay again.

We would stay again without looking elsewhere. We walked to Husky Stadium and shuttled to/from campus in a couple minutes. The scenic running/walking/cycling trail was a bonus. Itā€™s paved, no cars, quiet and through the trees. Thank you.

Yeti Hut was perfect for our stay! It was super comfortable, very well equipped, and a great location for visiting our UW student. Our student decided to stay with us overnight because of the extra comfy bed and peaceful quiet. Weā€™ll be back!

The Yeti Hut is an amazing property for anyone looking for a great Seattle experience! The proximity to the University of Washington, Husky Stadium and U-Village makes it ideal for an awesome football weekend. The home is well appointed - every small detail has been thought of. The beds and linen are super comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the outdoor spaces (balcony and patio) are wonderful. This unique home is clean, chic and cozy. The location is perfect - a very walkable neighborhood, and a straight shot to U-Village and Husky Stadium. The hosts were super communicative, provided detailed instructions, and were quick to respond to all ā€œhow-toā€ questions. We absolutely plan to make the Yeti Hut our go-to location for future Seattle trips.

I had a wonderful stay at the yeti hut! The unit is exactly as listed on VRBO- beautiful and well stocked. The garage door feature in the family living area was so fun during the cool evenings and the backyard has a sitting area with a fire pit! My favorite part of this property was definitely the location. I stayed here alone while my daughter was rushing the sororities for her freshman year at UW. We travelled to Seattle from across the county to do this. As a female who was staying alone, I cannot say enough about how much I appreciated this location. I was able to walk to campus and University Village in just a few minutes all while feeling completely safe. I also loved the easy access to the Burke Gilman trail. I traveled for miles in either direction on foot and I jumped on an electric bike here and there as well! I had access to the driveway for my rental car too- a big plus! Ryan and Bri were very sweet hosts. I will definitely be booking this again the next time I go to visit my girl.
