Urban Woodland Retreat, Near the ~UW~, Convenient to Everything

You will be delighted as you descend from street level in a quiet family neighborhood to your garden-level suite opening onto a mature wooded greenbelt along the popular Burke-Gilman trail. You will open your private entrance to find a lovely, roomy apartment, providing two comfortable bedrooms. You'll have to decide whether to sink into the comfortable sofa to enjoy the big screen TV with cable, cozy up before the floor to ceiling windows to drink in the serene view of trees, birds and Lake Washington in the distance, or cook a gourmet meal in the well-equipped kitchen. Your guests will relax and chat at the bar while you create, then you can share your bounty at the dining table. You may choose to barbecue outdoors and dine al fresco on your private deck, patio or around the crackling fire-pit.

The first bedroom has a king size bed, huge closet and wall-mounted TV. The second bedroom has an inviting queen size bed, convenient storage and a large window looking out on the wooded garden. This bedroom adjoins the full bathroom with tub and shower, separate vanity with plenty of storage.

You have your own laundry room, complete with front loader, high efficiency washer and dryer. Your suite will always be comfortable, with natural gas heat and central air conditioning. You will enjoy the gas fireplace in the living room. You and your family will always feel safe with your own security system.

Your guest suite is your home away from home, secluded-feeling but minutes away from all the amenities and activities you could want. You have your own covered parking spot steps from the stairway that takes you down three levels to your urban oasis. You will find easy street parking in the uncrowded neighborhood. You are steps away from public transportation, taking the Metro bus to the University District, Seattle Center, Northgate, Ballard or downtown in minutes. The bus will also take you to the University Station for light rail to downtown, the sports stadium area and Sea-Tac airport. You can hop on the Burke-Gilman trail for a walk, run or bike trip to Magnuson Park, University Village, the University of Washington campus, or points beyond.

Everything you need for a great stay!!!

Property is beautiful! Brand new carpet and everything looks brand new!! Outdoor porch is so comfy to sit and enjoy the outdoors! Every amenity thought of from complimentary drinks, cooking spices, sā€™mores, toiletries, etc!!! Even a makeup mirror for the ladies!!

I hate to say wonderful things about this place as I want to keep it a secret. It is amazing - from the location to the amenities and to the beautiful woodland backyard. There are so many things I could point to as examples but our favorite was Ron had a sā€™mores kit ready to go for when our granddaughter visited. We will be back!

Greenbelt Hideaway

Nestled at the bottom of three flights of stairs, this cozy little apartment opens out onto a beautiful lush patio, which in May was filled with flowering shrubs. Gorgeous. Spotless does not even approach describing how clean it was. Great spot.

This was our graduation trip to Seattle. The property was located just close enough but far enough away from the UW campus. A wonderful oasis amidst the chaos of grad traffic. The property is immaculate with a lot of amenities. Loved the garden (though we didnā€™t use the fire pit or barbecue). Great to have two rooms that were separated from each other. Ron was a great host and explained everything to us during check-in. He checks in once in a while which was appreciated. Would come back if we ever have an event in Seattle.

The location was perfect for our plans with our daughter at UW; and the neighborhood, yard and proximity to the Burke-Gilman Trail was just perfect for us! The unit was clean, beautifully maintained, and was stocked with everything you can think of in terms of what you might need or forget- including cold beverages in the fridge! I have never stayed at any other VRBO that included so much to make you feel at home. Thatā€™s all because of Ron, the host/owner, who couldnā€™t have been more friendly, accessible or accommodating! Hope to find this property available again for a future stay.

Amazing place! Amazing host!

Probably the best stay Iā€™ve had in a long time! I want to be selfish and keep it all to myself but I wonā€™t. There were more amenities than Iā€™ve had anywhere else. We were immediately impressed with the host and property. So much so that we extended our visit. We ended up staying in more than going out into Seattle because we liked it so much. Stay here, you will love it!

Property is absolutely beautiful, good restaurants and coffee a very short walk from your door. Great location, very clean and nice inside. My home away from home!

I needed to spend 5 weeks in Seattle to receive treatments at U of W hospital. The amount of attention Ron put in to making his VRBO feel welcoming, cozy, clean, and comfortable helped my mindset tremendously! He was so flexible with all of my care team coming and going, and for that I am so grateful! The location could not have been better! Loved the trail nearby and felt so safe! I will definitely be using this location again anytime I need to return to Seattle for medical treatment.

Amazing stay

We had an amazing stay at Ronā€™s place. He is one of if not the most attentive and thoughtful vrbo hosts. The placed was stocked with everything we needed and then some. Ron and his wife even took time to clean off the high chair they let us borrow for our little one. The place is nice and cozy in a very safe neighborhood. Highly recommend this place

Such a wonderful place in a great location

We loved this place. My friends were so comfortable during their stay. The apartment has everything you might need, and just has a very special, comfortable and homey feel. Football Weekend

Four of us drove in for two football games over the weekendā€”the huskies and the hawksā€¦.Ronā€™s rental was perfect in absolutely every way! We loved it and we won both games! Perfect! We will be back for sure. I highly recommend this very comfortable apartment.

Clean and Memorable Location

The property was very clean and organized. Everything was explained to us in detail at check-in by Ron, the manager. Check-out was very smooth too.
