The check-in process was not smooth and caused a lot of stress.
According to the instructions, I was supposed to send a message when I arrived at the door so that it could be opened. However, even after sending multiple messages and making phone calls, I received no response. I was unable to enter the room until I contacted Expedia for assistance.
As a result, it took about one hour from the time I arrived at the apartment to actually get into the room, which was well past the scheduled check-in time.
Additionally, there were groups of people gathering in front of the apartment, and the area did not feel very safe. While I understand that the price and room size may come with certain compromises, I do expect a reliable and smooth check-in process.
