We enjoyed everything for the most part. Our propane tank went out after 10 minutes of use, I was told it would get replaced but the firepit never worked the rest of our stay. Everything else was fine. I forgot my $350 speaker and was not contacted regarding the speaker that was left which I don't appreciate but our faults for forgetting it lol

Seattle Graduation Event

We were visiting to celebrate our daughter receiving her Master's degree. We really enjoyed the property, especially the back yard and hot tub. The house is spacious and clean. We would recommend it for families.

Almost great...

Lots of room ,great kitchen, ice provided....but the garage did not open also and this is a tip for owner create a binder with instructions for washing machine,coffee pot,kitchen fan ect. Also and this is a small but important thing cork screw for wine a house this size should at least have 2 we had to find a long screw in garage and use my leatherman pliers i brought and finally we got the wine open.3-4 stars over all just missing little things another tip any one staying over 5 days get a welcome basket you could go to trader joes get a bottle of wine some snacks and chocolate bars for about 18- 25$ and your guests will remember it very fondly..just a thought small things to push you into that 4-5 star range!

At most I rate this property 2 stars. It falls short of a top rating in multiple areas. Many items in the house need to be fixed. The amount of wear on the baseboards in the bathrooms is disgusting. The dishwasher is old and the lid crashes. I found five big shards from drinking glasses. Two of those glasses were returned to the cupboard and were a hazard. The dishes and glasses are a mismatch and many are old and worn. A toilet paper holder was missing with a patched and unpainted wall left behind. A large cleaning fee is charged, but there was hair in sinks from previous users, old razors in the shower, a ring on the kitchen floor, the dryer was full of clothes. I had to bring in the garbage cans from the street at 8pm, take trash out, etc. I shouldn’t be asked to do this when I’m already being charged for it. The house is not prepared for visitors. Wi-Fi had no login or password which was written up last summer yet unchanged. Also didn’t have the garage remote when as promised until it was left at the front door at 10pm. No instructions on how to use an complicated Apple tv remote. No description of where to find towels, no facial tissues, no extra paper towels. Television seating faced away from the wall mounted television, making relaxed viewing impossible. The flooring is a miss-match of various wood types, marble, and tile which was jarring. The bedroom draperies are ill fitted with many gaps. The mattresses, although extremely firm, are not of a high hotel quality.

Fabulous weekend stay in Martha Lake, WA

We booked this property for our family (me, husband, adult son, my sister and brother) to surprise our other sister (who lives about 10 minutes away in South Everett) for her 40th birthday. It was the perfect home to meet, relax, have meals, and enjoy one another's company. It was close to many stores and restaurants, which was great, while still feeling secluded in a private neighborhood. It had the perfect amount of ammenities (toiletries, stocked kitchen), communication with the property manager was quick and efficient, and the hot tub was fabulous for an end to our lovely days there. I wish we had stayed longer. We will definitely look to book this property again when we visit our family in the area.

Owner may need more experience hosting the property.

This is a very nice property in a nice area and very clean. However, the listing is not accurate in that the hot tub was not listed and yet when we got there--a hot tub is in the backyard. Because it was not mentioned in the listing, and had no instructions on how to use it--we did not touch it. It would have been fun to use it had we had the permission/instructions. Picture in the listing shows cushions on the outdoor furniture which were not on the furniture when we arrived. Unfortunately, Owner leaves NO instructions for ANYTHING. We had no idea how to operate the TV, appliances, bbq, a/c, fire pit or spa. There are a few Xmas decorations which were left up which seemed odd. The feeling we got was that the owner moved their clothes out and let us stay with no direction as to how to use anything. There was a VERY offputting smell in the garage--not sure what that was about. Additionally, there is some sort of alarm going off in the cabinet in the garage but the cabinet is locked. The a/c in the upstairs is not powerful enough to cool off the room w/o leaving the unit on all night. Mostly, we had to figure everything out as we went through our stay and, by the time it was time to leave, we finally figured out how everything worked. Pillows were like laying on bags of sand--they were not comfortable at all. However the beds, linens and towels were nice. Having stayed in lots of VRBOs, where you have a check-in sheet with all the information you would need--Owner left zero information. I had to email the owner to get the wi-fi password as nothing was provided upon check-in except how to enter the front door. There are also NO instructions left for the renter as to what is expected upon departure. We left the owner a detailed email with regard to this information on the first day we were there and he replied he would get back to us shortly. Owner never responded. Again, a very nice home in a very nice neighborhood but you have to figure things out for yourself. It was frustrating. I hope the host provides more detailed information for future guests.

University of Washington

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in the area to get my son situated for his freshman year at University of Washington. The university was only about 15 min away, it was extremely clean, in a great area, and the owners were very responsive.

Family Gathering

The property literally had "all the comforts of home". It had plenty of room to either gather together or find a spot for some privacy. Very comfortable furniture! The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in. Well stocked with cooking/serving ware. Nice backyard. I think my only suggestion would be instructions on how to turn on the gas log. Great for adults, not children or seniors

We were in the area for a wedding and our stay here was much more comfortable than in hotels. The deck and yard were lovely; the family room very comfortable for visiting and there was enough table space to enjoy family meals. The owners responded quickly to every question, and even let us check in a little early since flights arrived early. The house is on a quiet cul-de-sac, but backs to a very busy street. However, there are not 3 bathrooms, only 2 1/2 which, with six adults and a baby getting to a wedding took some coordination. There are vases, flowers, knick-knacks and fragile figurines everywhere so this is not a good place for small children. Although there is a crowded bedroom on the main floor, the only showers are upstairs so my senior parents had some difficulties. There are lots of pots, pans, forks and plates in the kitchen, but only three drinking glasses, few spoons and no mixing bowls. There was also food left in the freezer, refrigerator, cupboards; a dirty shirt in a nightstand drawer, ponytail holders under the sofa, and hard liquor behind the sofa. A good place for those between the ages of 10 and 60.
