Welcome to The Blue Heron, a stunning High Hammock home located in the heart of Seabrook Island, South Carolina. New to our rental program, this gorgeous beachhome is located on the island and just a half mile to the beach, to golf, and to the Seabrook Island Beach Club with oceanfront pools and seaside dining. Private and secluded, this beachhouse set on the second fairway of Ocean Winds golf course, is close to it all.

This beautifully remodeled property is a perfect blend of modern elegance and coastal charm, offering an inviting atmosphere flooded with natural light and adorned with designer furnishings. With three spacious bedrooms and three well-appointed bathrooms, The Blue Heron is an ideal retreat for families or groups of friends or even two families. Each room is thoughtfully designed to provide a restful haven after a day of exploring the nearby attractions.

The heart of the home features an open-concept living area with plush seating, elevated ceilings, built-in bookcases, a large TV, some games, and access to the outdoor patio area. The living space that seamlessly connects to a modern, updated, and clean kitchen, equipped with modern appliances and ample counter space for culinary enthusiasts, as well as a built in breakfast area. Enjoy meals together at the dining table or unwind in the cozy living room, where you can relax and enjoy quality time with loved ones.

The master suite is a guest favorite. A plush king bed, tv, and alcove with an additional bed and its own barn door make this such a lovely space. The large ensuite bathroom features an oversized shower and a bath, as well as a large vanity.

The first guest bedroom has a queen bed with a twin bunk above. A second queen bed is across the room.

The second guest room features a queen bed with twin bunk bed atop.

A hallway bathroom with an oversized shower is near both of these guest rooms for convenient access. An additional third bathroom with shower is off the hallway near the front door.

Guests fall in love with the unique outdoor space. A sunken deck with grill and outdoor seating overlooks the fairway of Ocean Winds. Stairs lead to an elevated and screened gazebo with a dining table and ample seating all overlooking the green. The property is surrounded by lush greenery and phenomenal golf course views, providing a tranquil setting for relaxation.

For your comfort and convenience, The Blue Heron includes essential amenities such as air conditioning, high-speed internet, and laundry facilities. Safety features are also in place to ensure peace of mind during your stay.

The Lakehouse at Seabrook Island, Bohicket Marina, Freshfields Village, and Kiawah Island are all nearby. Downtown historic Charleston is a scenic 21-mile drive. Nearby are farmers markets, The Goatery at Kiawah, dolphin and sunset boat tours, museums, historical home tours, ghost tours, hiking, kayaking, fishing, and so much more.

This property is dog-friendly on a case by case basis. A non-refundable pet fee applies if approved, and must be paid prior to your stay.

Your safety matters. This property features a Nest doorbell device with an exterior security camera facing the front outdoor entry. The camera does not look into any interior spaces. The camera actively records video when motion is detected by the device (including devices linked to the camera such as the alarm system's motion detector) or when the video doorbell button is pressed.

The driveway is large and provides ample parking space. This property also has a dedicated 6-seater LSV available for rent thru Lightning Bugz via an app. (Instructions on the cart itself. All LSV questions to be directed to Lightning Bugz only. This cart possesses one of the available rental gate passes allowed for this unit.

LINENS, TOWELS, & STARTER-KIT OF SUPPLIES: Included in this rental, for the convenience of our guests, are comfortable, white linens and a selection of bath and hand towels, as well as washcloths. A starter set of hand soaps, bath soaps, shampoo, toilet tissue, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish detergent, dish soap, a kitchen sponge, and kitchen towels are included. Guests staying for an extended stay may need to purchase or bring additional supplies. Beach towels are not included (although towel service is available at the Beach Club.)

WASHER & DRYER: A washer and dryer are located in the unit for your convenience. Should you require wash n fold service, please let us know. Coffee Maker: Single Serve & Carafe Coffee Maker on site. (BYO ground coffee for carafe or use provided Keurig K-cups.)

AMENITY CARDS: Amenity cards offer exclusive access to the Seabrook Island beach club, dining club, tennis and award-winning golf. Without this card, access is prohibited. Amenity Cards are INCLUDED with this rental (a $50 day savings). Guests also have complimentary access to the uncrowded and private beaches, equestrian center, and the outdoor Lakehouse pool. The fitness center is accessible for a daily fee of $16 per guest. Whether you are fishing, crabbing, biking, kayaking, or shopping, there is something for everyone. Beginning January 1, 2025, pre-order forms will be mandatory for all guests wishing to use the outdoor Lakehouse pool. Please ensure that your completed form is submitted to the amenity office at least two weeks prior to your arrival to avoid a $10 late fee. Due to the volume of requests and the card preparation process, the office is now unable to accept information over the phone.

ISLAND ACCESS & PARKING: As the island is a gated, private island, each vehicle entering the island will require a gate pass for island access. Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) has now started charging a gate pass fee per vehicle. This property has a limit of 2 vehicle passes. This $45 fee per vehicle applies to guests staying 1 night – 179 nights. Our rental agency is responsible for collecting the fee. Gate pass name information for each car is due one week prior to your arrival. For each pass, a driver's name must be provided. Drivers may be required to show a valid Driver's license when at the gate. Once a vehicle has a gate pass, any licensed driver can drive that vehicle. LSV vehicles (low speed golf carts) are allowed, require a pass, and count towards the vehicle total allowance.

CHECK IN: For our guest's convenience, we offer a prompt, self check-in process. Guests will directly check-in at the property with a code for the keypad on the door. We, however, are always a phone call or text away. We offer as much assistance with check-in process as needed. Our office is available to answer questions

With the combination of these best detailed practices, our employees, clients, and guests should be safe from the spread of germs. We launder the bedcoverings (comforters, bedspreads, quilts) after every single stay.

THE AREA: Guests will find that the area offers so much to do. With vast, uncrowded beaches, an array of recreational offerings, and the historic city of Charleston just 21 miles away, an adventure awaits you daily.

IN THE EVENT OF A STORM: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order for Seabrook Island is given during the dates of your stay, The Owner/Host or the Property Management Company shall refund 100% of all deposits, payments and / or monies paid by the traveler. Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no further liability with respect to the Reservation. Please note that if there is inclement weather in the other 49 states, prohibiting the traveler (or guests in traveler's group) from getting to Charleston, a refund will not be issued and, Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no liability with respect to the Reservation. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly suggest travelers obtain insurance.

POLICY ON SMOKING: No smoking please. Violators will be fined for in-home smoke damages.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Free cancellations up to 30 days before your stay.

PARTIES: THIS IS an ideal property for making memories but this is NOT A PARTY PROPERTY!!
