2502 Chateau by the Green
This 1st floor villa has it all! Enjoy great views of the green of the par 3, 5th hole on Crooked Oaks while relaxing on the screened porch. The spacious villa has three large bedrooms and 2.5 baths and can easily accommodate 8 guests. Enjoy use of all of Seabrook Island's fine amenities offered by the Club and the Lake House. Its central location on the Island makes it easy to get anywhere.

Nestled amid live oak trees draped in Spanish moss, this gorgeous, completely remodeled Chateau by the Green villa is the perfect getaway spot for families and friends. The beach vibe continues throughout this wonderful home. Cheerful yellows and a tiled entry way greet you. The open living room features hardwood floors, French doors leading to the screened porch overlooking the green and an open covered deck with a dining table and gas grill. The living room has comfortable seating surrounding the large HDTV w/cable. The accent fireplace (not available for guest use) adds a nice homey feeling to this room. The dining room has a beautiful farm table that easily seats 6 guests. There is additional seating for 4 at the kitchen counter. The open, fully equipped kitchen allows all to be involved in keeping the “chef” company while cooking. The large kitchen has granite counters and white cabinetry. Other features include stainless steel GE appliances, a wine refrigerator, and well stocked cabinets.

Just off the living area is a powder room outfitted with a farm-styled sink and tumbled marble floor. Further down the hall are the three bedrooms and two additional baths. The master bedroom suite has a king sized bed overlooking a fireplace and HDTV. There is a stained glass accent window and a door leading to the screened porch. The en-suite bath has a large cherry vanity with a granite tile top. The large walk-in tiled shower has an adjustable shower head. The 2nd bedroom has two full beds allowing for up to four guests to sleep in comfort. The armoire holds a TV - great for when the kids want to watch their shows. All the closets are cedar-lined in this home. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed and a small TV. The hall bath sits between the two bedrooms and has a tub and single vanity. There is a full sized washer and dryer in the laundry closet.

Seabrook Island is a private welcoming oceanfront community just miles from historic Charleston, SC. Completely immersed in natural splendor, the coastal barrier island is home to lush maritime forest, serene marshes and pristine beaches.

*Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) has started charging for all gate passes.

Gate passes are $45/ vehicle. This charge applies if you are staying 1 night – 179 nights. If you are staying more than 179 nights, there is a different charge.
MAXIMUM number of passenger vehicles which may be parked during the overnight hours of 11 pm-7am, which require a gate pass: 3
The first gate pass is included in your stay. You must call our office if you require more than one gate pass

ONLY GAS LSV RENTALS ALLOWED-gate pass required
LSV (Low Speed Vehicle) RENTALS PERMITTED at this property. An LSV requires the use of one of the gate passes included in the maximum number of vehicles passes.
Requirements for LSVs
Must be registered and insured, have a 17-digit VIN and display an LSV license plate, display a valid SIPOA entry pass issued specifically to that vehicle. Drivers must have a valid driver s license. No off-road tires allowed
Usage Restrictions:
For street use only. No use on bicycle paths, walking paths, golf course cart paths, boardwalks, or beaches. Follow SIPOA vehicle and parking rules.
Safety Requirements: SC seat belt laws apply to all occupants. Child seats are a must. SIPOA officers and CCSO will stop vehicles with unsecured children

Amenity access, allowing you access to the Seabrook Island Club amenities, is AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE
Seabrook Island is a cashless island. Your credit card will be linked to an in-app digital QR code for all purchases. Your QR code also acts as your "key" to enter all Club and Lake House facilities.
What's Free: Use of the Beach Club oceanfront pools and the Lake House outdoor pool.
What Costs Extra: Golf, tennis, pickleball, equestrian activities, the Lake House fitness center/indoor pool, and all food or drinks at Seabrook Island Club bars & restaurants

Lovely condo in a great neighborhood

The condo was very comfortable and spacious. The area is beautiful, centrally located on the Island. It was very clean and the furnishings were comfortable. The host has a detailed book explaining everything about the condo and the area. I highly recommend it.

Wonder stay with good parking

Appreciate the 3 spaces to park. Not all properties at Seabrook meet that need and we really appreciate it. Property is very nice.

Needs a refresh & update

The property was well suited for our family. However, it is need of some upgrades. The property needs fresh, new bedding, towels and rugs. The bathroom rugs were visibly stained and appeared unwashed. The kitchen needs new pots and pans. I realize that the humidity of the location is difficult to manage but the property smelled musty and was an unfortunate first impression.

Family beach vacation

The house was super clean and amazing. Beds were very comfortable. Location was right on the golf course. Kitchen came with everything we needed to cook with. We really enjoyed watching the deer in the evenings. Our only complaint is with Seabrook Island after spending so much money on a house you could not bring your own golf cart. And it seems like they want money all the time because they require you to rent a golf cart which is over $1200 but the house and property was amazing

Fantastic Villa!

We chose the Villa for our 6 guest, which included family and friends. My mother is 88 and lived in Kiawah for many years before moving out west. We go back to the Islands each year and stay somewhere different. This was perfect for all of us. The back screened in porch and outside eating area is where we spent most of our time for our 3 night stay. Nice views and one floor made this a perfect stay.

Disappointing

Though our accommodations were acceptable, they were not exceptional at all! Property management responded quickly to our concerns about uncleanliness (linens & a very mildewed bathroom), but our trip was tainted by our first impressions. We pulled a nasty mug with coffee grounds from the cabinet which made me unsure if anything had been washed well. The oven was very slow pre-heating, a full pot of water wouldn’t run into the coffee pot & the hot water heater did not accommodate our family bathing before dinner. The kitchen was cheaply stocked with utensils (dishes & silverware were flimsy). The condo was dark & dated, not bright as the marketing pictures depicted. We enjoyed the beach club & the food served there. Maybe it was our unfamiliarity with the island (our first trip to Seabrook) after several to Kiawah, but overall our experience was not positive. Fresh Fields was a saving grace. Sent from my iPhone

Inaccurate VRBO listing “Amenity Cards Included”

They were not included but after an hour of phone deliberations they realized they had made a mistake and the VRBO listing did say they were included. Got reimbursed so all is well for me but I feel others may not have gotten their fair share in the past. Unit was in good shape and decent location. The whole island is very expensive and they have rules and fees for everything. Bring a big credit card. Especially if you want to play a round of golf. Drinks at the pool bar were nearly $15. Probably Best Buy of the week was getting the Charleston county park pass at Beachwalker park on Kiawah. Nice beach and facilities to use. Next year, probably going back to HHI.

Seabrook

Was perfectly located for the wedding we attended . Once we got there , was pretty smooth . Property manager was very responsive . Place was clean , perfect for a family. Very nicely appointed . Only complaint was Amenity card. Little cumbersome and confusing to get , and frankly kind of expensive for what you get . Other than that ( which is NOT the property fault ) highly recommend

Enjoyed

We very much enjoyed our stay, it was myself, my son and his wife and their two small children, my daughter and her husband and my youngest daughter. The house is spacious and well appointed-in a great location-short drive to the best beach (IMO) at beach access #2. We’ve been going to Seabrook for years and this is one of my favorite stays-my only feedback would be more cooking tools, prep bowls, pots and pans and dishes-possibly one more comfy chair in the living room.

Beautiful home

Beautiful place to stay, home was clean and well stocked. They were quick to respond to questions I had. There are lots of rules and fees associated with the island so be sure to read all about that.

Beautiful Island

This is a 4 condo unit so you have neighbors above and on the side. It was very clean and as expected based on the listing. It is 1.5-2.0 miles to the pool and beach access so we did rent bikes. Amenity card ended up being very pricy for 2 days of pool usage.

Great Experience

We enjoyed our stay at the property. We are early risers, but if you are not, consider bringing ear plugs if you stay in the master bedroom. The property is on the golf course and they begin maintenance before 7am. Apart from that, everything was great and we would stay here again!

Seabrook Island Getaway

2502 Chateau by the Green was definitely an older vacation home that was in the process of being remodeled. It was mostly clean and well-stocked with basic necessities. There was plenty of space for our group and it was a comfortable, quiet home to stay in. Because the home is currently being updated, we did notice a few things that needed attention during our stay. There was no shower curtain or mirror provided in the master bathroom initially. We learned that the mirrors were on back-order and the shower door still needed to be installed. The property manager provided a temporary shower curtain for our use. We also noticed that a couple of the bathrooms had not been thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival. One tub had dirt in the bottom and one bathroom did not have any toilet paper provided. The dishwasher also did not work during our stay. One of the ceiling fans in the bedrooms also was not working. Nonetheless, it was comfortable, provided easy access to the rest of the island, and plenty of space. The two back porches were a perfect spot to sit in the mornings and I believe that as they continue to update the property, it will be a wonderful landing spot for vacationers. Coastal Getaways was very accommodating in helping us out when needed and provided great customer service. We loved going to the beach on Seabrook Island. The sunset was beautiful at night and the waves were perfect for swimming and boogie boarding during the day. We also enjoyed going into Charleston a couple of days to take a carriage ride and explore downtown. We enjoyed the beachfront access, nice pools to swim in, and spacious accommodations. We truly had a wonderful vacation at Seabrook Island!

Weekend fun
