Summary:
An oceanfront home on the bluff at the south end of Sea Ranch, with a wood-burning fireplace, a hot tub, and a deck that faces the Pacific. Three bedrooms sleep 6, two with king beds and one with a queen, and there are 3 full baths. Gas grill, garage parking for two, and the Ohlson rec center pool about 1 mile away.
The Space:
From the deck at Webb House the water is the whole view, not a glimpse between trees. The house sits on the bluff at the south end of Sea Ranch, and the surf you'll hear through the walls is breaking just below. Guests mention ocean views from room after room, a big patio, and the balconies.
Inside, the living room gathers around a wood-burning fireplace, and the dining table stands at the windows with the ocean behind every meal. One bedroom opens straight onto the patio. The baths include a soaking tub, a glass-walled shower, and a double vanity, the kind of rooms you'll linger in after a cold walk.
The hot tub sits out on the deck, and a gas grill handles dinner in the same open air. When the wind comes up off the water, the fireplace is the reason you'll head back in.
KITCHEN & DINING
You'll cook in a full kitchen with a dishwasher, range and oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and blender, and sit six at the table with the water in the window. A washer and dryer are in the house for salt-air layers.

OUT THE DOOR

Del Mar is about 5.4 miles north, and Gualala's market and restaurants are about 7.5 miles north on Highway 1.

Guest Access:
The whole house is yours: both levels, the deck, the patio, the balconies, the hot tub, and the grill. Park two cars in the garage and let yourself in with the entry code we send before you arrive. The Neighborhood:
Webb House is oceanfront at the south end of The Sea Ranch, the planned community that runs about 10 miles along the Sonoma Coast. The Ohlson recreation center, with a heated pool, sauna, and courts, is about 1 mile. Pebble Beach is about 1.25 miles, and Black Point's headland trails are about 1.5 miles up the coast. The Sea Ranch Lodge, with its restaurant, bar, and café, and Shell Beach are each about 2.4 miles. Del Mar is about 5.4 miles north. Gualala's market, restaurants, and gas station are about 7.5 miles north on Highway 1; Jenner and Bodega Bay are a longer drive south.
Getting Around:
San Francisco is about 2.5 hours away: Highway 101 north to Highway 1, then up the coast to the south end of Sea Ranch. From Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport in Santa Rosa, allow about 1.5 hours. Everything beyond the bluff is a drive.
Other Things to Note:
The bluff drops to the water close to the house. Keep an eye on children near the edge.
Security cameras are on the exterior of the property.
The house is on two levels with stairs between them. One bedroom opens onto the patio.
Ohlson is the close pool, about 1 mile, and it's shared with the community; a sunny weekend means neighbors.
The Sea Ranch leaves the night dark on purpose. Bring a flashlight for the path from the garage.
Gray whales pass from December through April, and an oceanfront deck is a fine place to watch. Summer mornings often start under fog that burns off later.
Cell service is patchy on the coast. The house has WiFi.
