Guest Access:

You will have full access to the entire home and all its amenities during your stay. The private hot tub is available around the clock -- no reservation needed. This home welcomes 1 dog -- the yard and nearby trails are ready for your pup. Parking is available in the garage. Detailed check-in instructions, including the door code, will be provided prior to your arrival. As a guest, you also have access to Sea Ranch community amenities including the pools, tennis courts, and miles of trails. A recreation pass will be provided.

Stretching along ten miles of the Sonoma Coast, The Sea Ranch offers a rare blend of coastal wilderness and thoughtfully designed homes. Nearby highlights include community heated pool (North) (10-minute walk), Shell Beach tidepools (5-minute drive), The Sea Ranch Lodge restaurant, lounge and café (5-minute drive). The community features miles of bluff-top and forest trails, tidepools, two heated community pools, tennis courts, and The Sea Ranch Lodge with its restaurant, lounge and café. Stock up in Gualala, just 10 minutes north, where you'll find grocery stores, restaurants, a hardware store, and gas. Bodega Bay is a beautiful drive for fresh seafood.



Getting Around:

Plan for a 2.5-hour drive from San Francisco (Highway 101 to Highway 1). If flying, Santa Rosa's Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) is the closest option at about 90 minutes east. You'll want a car here -- the winding coastal roads are half the adventure.



Other Things to Note:

Sea Ranch has three recreation centers with heated pools, saunas, and tennis courts. Access passes are provided with your stay -- check availability upon arrival as these shared amenities can be popular during peak times.



Exterior lighting is minimal by design to preserve the stunning dark sky -- bring a flashlight for evening walks and enjoy some of the best stargazing on the California coast.



Whale watching season runs from December through April -- grab the binoculars and watch for gray whale spouts from your window. Spring (April-June) brings a wildflower show across the coastal meadows -- lupine, poppies, and iris paint the landscape. Summer (June-September) brings the warmest days and longest light. Morning fog is common along the coast -- it usually burns off by midday.



Welcome to bring 1 dog (up to 50 lbs.). Please keep your dog on a leash on trails and clean up after them.



Cell service can be spotty along the coast. The home has WiFi for staying connected.
