" I had made my reservation for 3 nights, but driving into Cave City, I noticed the area was pretty dead as far as visitors and many places weren't open so upon check-in, I advised I was only going to stay 2 nights. They raised my nightly rate by $20 a night, saying I originally got the "3-night special"! Not a good beginning to my stay. "The She Shed was great. Cozy little spot. Stayed for three nights and slept great. The hosts we're awesome: helpful and hospitable. The cabin was stocked well enough that we could cook a little breakfast in the morning and head off to Mammoth Cave for some hiking during the day. Really happy I found this spot. Glamping is where it's at."

"This is an old property and the folks are doing their best with what is there. Dirt in corners in the bathroom may date back to the 60s but the bed was very clean and comfortable, nice TV, everything I needed. "

"Empty shower gel container in shower, only one shower nozzle worked (2 were provided), no smart TV’s so no access to Netflix, Hulu, etc. Breakfast clean & good. "

"We absolutely loved staying at the Lily Pad cottage. Quiet..Peaceful..plenty for the kids and adults to do. Had a campfire every night. Relaxing and serene. Just what we needed to get away from the busy lives we all lead. Sunrise was Beautiful as well as the stars at night. Our host was amazing. Felt like Family. We will definitely be back. Loved it!!"
