"I know how important review ratings are, so I don’t want to leave something negative, however I know how important reviews are and I don’t want anyone else to show up with their family and be scared either. The most important thing I want to note is that i feel like you need to make sure you arrive during the day time hours because we arrived at 11 pm and our kids were truly scared since you have to walk in thru a kind of creepy basement area (where bedroom #1 is). "This property was beautiful, unfortunately we got in kind of late and had to leave right away in the morning. This was just a quick stop on our way south. Our family of 5 has outgrown hotel suites because of the pull out couches in a double queen suites, they are often horrible beds. This place had two bedrooms with queen beds I believe and also a queen blow up mattress upstairs in the living room. The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved our short stay. "The house was adequate for our 15 party family other than one shower in the house. It was cute. We were there for the Redwoods so we didn’t spend a lot of time at the house other than to sleep and eat. The beds were comfortable. The host extremely responsive."

"Looked for a quiet and clean property with three bedrooms for one couple and two single adults. This fulfilled our expectations and more - we were in town for 3 1/2 days and only left the house once - it was easier for other family in town to come to where we were & everyone loved the location! "Off grid getaway tucked deep in the redwoods— arrival itself is an adventure. The apartment is a quiet, peaceful nook with an eclectic touch. The grounds are highly explorable and our pup had a wonderful time. Wondering around and waking up next to the rushing Eel River was a beautiful experience. Great place to stay if your goal is to disconnect for a while. 10/10 will return. "
