"We stayed for 2 weeks, whilst the rest of the country had a heat wave, we had a couple of nice days and the rest was misty and windy. "Joan's house is very spacious, well equipped, and perfectly located within 10 mins walk from the local shops (provisions, crafts and tweed) and the local restaurant, deli, ButtyBus, harbour and lochs. "This is a beautiful bungalow, well equipped and perfectly located for visiting Benbecula and the Uists. Our host was extremely helpful and always very quick to respond. We had a ferry cancellation and he offered us an extra night as he had no other guests expected which was extremely kind.
