"The basement apartment was perfect for my stay while attending a conference at the University in Corvallis. Although it is a basement apartment, it was cool and dry, and well designed. The bedroom is at ground level so where is a large bay window giving fresh air and natural light. "This property is awesome and very unique. From the large indoor pool with diving board, to the old time cassette player, to the beautiful views. Our group of 12 people slept very comfortably (almost every bedroom has its own bathroom) and had a lot of fun. Only negative is that the electrical system was not fully working throughout the house. Once that is fixed I would recommend this property to any large group (friends, family, mixture of friends and family) finding a place to stay."

"The Townhome was perfect for our 4 day stay in Salem for our IM70.3. We had a really difficult time finding (and keeping) a VRBO as 2 previous had cancelled on us. After a few calls with Paula, call it divine intervention or luck this place came available…we booked. It was clean, great location, and easy check in/out. The only issue we had was navigating the stairs after our race but that’s OUR fault not Paula’s. "

"The Old Rock Quarry Studio is homey, comfortable, and clean. It features everything you might want in an extended stay. As mentioned in a previous stay with this host, there is a notable attention to detail here. It is green out of every window, and skylights that open add clean, country air. Note that parking is for one car including local guests. Note too that Check-out is 10:00, not the usual 11:00, I had to apologize for my failure to do so on time. "It's a beautiful property. You can grab decent food on your way in off of I-5. Check in is super easy. Mike and Stephany are wonderful to deal with, and super accommodating. Very affordable place to lay your head, as long as you understand what a dry cabin is and prepare. Definitely recommended and will be back! "
