"Very beautiful house and garden with very friendly hosts. We particularly appreciated the cooking class and Barbaras home made meals!The house had a well equipped kitchen were we could prepare meals. "We stayed in Villa Maria for couple days on Jul-2024 and were amazing days. The villa is as beautiful as we can see on the images, well located and very cozy. Tomasso is a great host and was always available for helping us with anything we needed. He also provided good tips for restaurantes and places around the villa. Amazing place. "We absolutely loved our time at Villa Sarah. The photos cannot capture just how breathtaking the views are. The staff were lovely and professional. "The villa was a beautiful home to send our our time in Tuscany, Italy. We enjoyed having our own bedrooms and baths. We had a special meal cooked by a local chef, Rachel. The kitchen worked well for the cooking, and for our breakfasts. The scenery was just breathtaking, and it is just as pictures in books looked like. We very much enjoyed our stay."

"DIfficult to fault anything about the villa or our time here. It is about 30 minutes drive South of Florence and somewhat less to the tramline if you want to avoid driving into the city. It is also superbly placed for seeing the beautiful Tuscan countryside. "The property was absolutely charming. It really had that homey, Italian, Tuscan charm about it. The kids and my husband loved it too. I wish I had planned for more days there. We didn’t have time to partake in the cooking class or truffle hunting, but I guess that just leaves a reason to come back. The location was great too because it’s in the country away from the busy cities, but a close enough drive to all the various Tuscan sites.The owners were very nice and spoke good enough English....

"Our family stayed here for a week, place is fantastic and we felt very at home. All facilities very good, in a lovely area with decent restaurants located nearby. Only slight negative is that it’s not the easiest place to access, this was discussed with the owner on checkout who appeared to take the feedback onboard which is an always a good sign. Other than that, would be happy to recommend and also stay again!!"

"Großes Haus, gut ausgestattete Küche für große Gruppen, ruhige Lage mit Fernblick. Es sind 800 steile Meter Schotter bis zur Hauptstraße, wir mussten unsere Rennräder dorthin hochschieben. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Ort. Der Poolbereich ist sehr schön, das Haus hat Charme und etwas Patina, wie bei älteren Landhäusern üblich. Kommunikation mit Vermieter sehr gut."

" I have done my research before booking my hotel in florence and nailed it with Calimala Hotel. Excellent hotel, perfect location (really, I came back like 3 times in one afternoon just to charge my phone or use the bathroom, it is that close from all the historical points of the city). My room wasn’t ready yet when I arrived, but it was before check in time. The room was very spacious, great shower, sheets and towels. Very good service before arrival, they made dinner reservations for me. Felt safe the whole time, because there are a lot of people around, its really in the center of the city. Also, the AC works really well, it was one of my worries but it was 36 celsius and the AC was doing the job. Calimala is the perfect choice, hope to come back soon! "
