"The best dog friendly rental we have stayed in so far. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, nicely updated and the rustic decor charming. Scaly mountain is between Highlands NC and Dillard Ga, so close enough either way to enjoy shopping and restaurants but rural enough to feel like you live in the country. Lots of dog friendly hiking trails nearby. Loved the front porch with its swing and cool evenings, and the fire pit. Definitely recommend."

"We spent the night before our friends' wedding. The red tiny house had all we needed; bed, shower, coffee maker, and a hot tub. After the twisty ride from the Chattanooga area, the hot tub was a godsend. The gravel driveway was packed down enough for the motorcycle. It's a nice location for both Clayton and Helen. We will come back."

"Cabin was perfect. Clean, accurately depicted in listing. Decorated super nice. Host was extremely responsive (normally within 5-10 mins) would certainly stay here again. Gave all five stars because six wasn’t a choice !!"

"The house was just as in the pictures. Being able to use the garage was paramount because we were on motorcycles and we had some storms during our stay. The real star of the show was our host. The communication was outstanding with quick answers to any questions, thoughtful messages prior to our stay, and following up to ensure there were no issues. "

"Very Clean. Very comfortable. Property was in excellent condition. Felt new. Perfect size for a couple or small family. Remote. All appliances like new if not new. Utilities were excellent. Driveway is steep and may be intimidating to most. Parking area at house is good. We parked at house every night. "

"It was a wonderful little cabin, we enjoyed our stay very much. Management neglected to update the listing title as the dock no longer exists. There is access to the river but no dock. We loved the location and the peace of the river."

Yes the road is single-lane, but we never encountered another vehicle the entire week of coming and going. Carly is a great host, and we hope there is availability when we work up there next year!"

"Unique experience which I enjoyed. It's glamping at its finest. The raging river is just spectacular and very relaxing. Secluded down in the gorge. I loved it. Owner is great with communication even if there were six hours difference between us because she also was on a trip, but made sure to stay up to make sure I got there, and everything was good.
