Beautiful 4 bedroomed villa set in a commanding position with fantastic panoramic views over the I mediterranean, and surrounding Sierra Tejeda mountains.
The villa is south west facing and has the benefit of sun all day and magnificent sunsets.
The villa has a cosy European feel and comprises of 4 bedrooms ,1 master with balcony and en suite, 1 double with en suite (both with power showers) two doubles (one with an extending bed).
Downstairs bathroom with power shower.
Fully equipped modern fitted kitchen with American fridge freezer, microwave, oven and hob, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and toaster.
French doors opening onto large dining terrace and cosy seating area.
Large sitting room with a log burning fire, a smart tv, DVD, wifi, freeview tv and iPod dock plus a selection of DVD films. French doors leading out onto the front terrace overlooking the 10x4m swimming pool, large sun terrace and shaded pergola for poolside dining.
Large driveway and gates for privacy and security.
Enclosed large rear courtyard garden with views over the mountains, including famous "Maroma" mountain other white villages and Competa.
For nature lovers there are many tracks and walking trails.
The local, charming village of Sayalonga has restaurants, a bakery, a pharmacy, small supermarkets and a weekly fruit market, bank ATM, and a pretty village square.
Sayalonga is just a 15 minute drive to the coast and beaches, restaurants and nightlife.
Torre del mar water park is a 20 minute drive away, and the caves of Nerja and the Ealcon de Europa are approx 25 minutes away. The, please note,Moriscos is not one minute walk away but 4 minute drive

Absolutely fabulous villa in a stunning location, making for a wonderful holiday. The house is beautifully and thoughtfully furnished, and equipped with everything you could need. Lots of different seating areas mean there is always somewhere comfortable to sit, in sun or shade, and space for the whole family to spread out. The pool is a delight and the views of the sea and mountains are world class. Having your own car is essential, and the access road is not recommended for the feint hearted, but the views, and the peace make it all worth while. Some nice restaurants in the village, and a Lidl in easy reach at Algarobo Costa. Marc was really helpful and communicative ahead of and during our trip, and quickly dealt with any questions or issues that arose. Totally recommended. Thanks again Marc for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Beautiful place ( just a bit scary getting there!)

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house but we definitely underestimated how difficult the drive would be. It was nerve-wracking to say the least! The property itself is beautiful and the views are amazing though. A great base for a day trip into malaga and beach days in Nerja. Some lovely restaurants too but you will have to drive everywhere ( and make it back up the mountain!!) Marcus is an exceptional host and couldn't have been nicer.

Incredible Villa with incredible views

Where do I even begin, we have just arrived home from the most amazing 12 day stay at this incredible villa. It has been everything we wished for and more. The villa itself has everything you need and it’s beautiful inside, but outside is even better. The views and the sun rise and sun sets are just out of this world. My children (and also adults) absolutely loved being in the pool every day and sunbathing overlooked by the most beautiful surroundings looking over the mountains, peace and tranquility at its finest. There are so many lovely spots around the villa in the shade too if you wanted a little break from the sun, all perfect spaces to listen to the birds and read a book. Each room inside the villa is lovely and the beds are also very comfortable. The kitchen is great for cooking and equipped with everything that you need. The drive up to the villa from sayalonga is fine and definitely not as scary as you may think, once you have drove it once it just becomes second nature. Down in the town of sayalonga our favourite place to eat was ‘Meson Morisco’ the food, the service and the surroundings were wonderful. I don’t have any faults to say, nothing but a positive, beautiful and luxury stay at this beautiful villa. Thank you Marcus and Pip! We will definitely return!

Tough drive, great reward

Tasteful, well thought out, quality build. Neighbors nearby but you'd never know it. Great communication with Marc, the owner. The enjoyment of the spectacular view, pool, verandas, and privacy was first class. The drive there is not for the faint hearted, but wegot used to it.

Wir haben unseren Osterurlaub in dem Haus verbracht. Es ist wunderschön gelegen auf einem der höchsten Berge um Sayalonga. Der Weg zum Haus ist ein gut 10-minütiger (mit dem Auto, ab Sayalonga) und steiler Aufstieg, der größtenteils befestigt (betoniert) ist. Das Haus liegt idyllisch fast auf dem Gipfel

Fantastic Half Term Week

A lovely well appointed villa with spectacular views and a lovely swimming pool. The sunsets were epic, and we had a great time as a family. My only slight negative would be the drive up being on windy roads meaning we didnt venture out for dinner due to not wanting to do the drive in the dark. Otherwise, we had a great week.

The Pictures Don't Lie...

Just left Marc and Pippa’s place after an 11 night stay with my wife and father-in-law. Everything was exactly as described and communication with Marc was excellent. The road up, as mentioned in a couple reviews, is somewhat daunting the first time, but you do get used to it. And it really is the only way you'd get to experience the incredible views the villa provides. The villa itself is wonderfully outfitted, very spacious and the pool is spectacular. We did a couple of day trips down to Malaga and Algarrobbo and had a couple of dinners in Sayalonga, but basically spent the bulk of our time just hanging out by the pool not wanting to go anywhere... Thanks again for everything Marc!

Erholsamer Urlaub in spektakulärer Kulisse

Das Ferienhaus hatte alles was man braucht, genügend Platz drinnen und draußen. Es ist mir sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet undman kann viel entdecken. Man findet auch immer ein schattiges Plätzchen, wo angenehm der Wind weht und man hat immer einen fantastischen Blick entweder auf das Mittelmeer oder die umliegenden Berge. Der Poolbereich ist mega!!! Wir haben abends viel gegrillt (man hat die Wahl: Holzkohle oder Gas) und haben es sehr genossen draußen zu sitzen. Ob der Blick zum Meer oder über die Berge, es war einfach toll. Wenn man den Weg nach oben einmal gefahren ist, hat man sich auch daran gewöhnt. So schlimm wie manche es beschrieben haben, ist es nicht. Man soolte nur keinen tiefergelegten Sportwagen ausleihen. ("Abenteuerlich" beginnt doch erst, wenn Allrad erforderlich ist, oder?). Uns hat es auch nicht gestört, dass es keine Klimaanlage gab (wir haten bis zu 36 Grad). Über die Ventilatoren wurde es auch sehr angenehm. Insgesamt hatten wir sehr erholsame und tolle Tage. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. wie manche es

Fabulous Family holiday

WOW breathtaking views. Villa delivered on all aspects. You will find yourself never wanting to leave, already planning your return. We loved the outdoor dinning, watching the spectacular sunsets. Great place, great nearby activities,great host. Fabulous holiday!! its so much more than you think it will be. We particularly enjoyed morning’s round the pool, afternoons on the beach, evening’s around the villa. Amenities - Lidl supermarket a short drive away, but try the fabulous local butcher next door for your BBQ. Out and about you are just spoilt for choices of what to do during your stay from beach to exploring mountain villages. My children aged 14,16 and 18 enjoyed the kayaking on Nerja beach. Activity floats on the sea in Torre de Mar. Sayalonga Village has a lovely atmosphere. Restaurant,Bakery,pharmacy and small shop. However - I can’t say enough!! nothing beats just been at the villa, enjoying at nature at its best with your family. Thank you for a wonderful stay. See you again. Note: we arrive in the dark, map was easy to follow. Completed no problems.

Superb villa with stunning views

We are a family of 5 adults and had a wonderful 8 nights in this beautiful villa. It was wonderfully clean and fully equipped and furnished to a very high standard. The pool was a good size and there was a selection of shaded areas to relax and take in the stunning views of both coast and mountains. So tranquil yet only a short drive to beach/supermarket. Just be aware the road up to the villa is not for the faint hearted but you get used to it! Hire a car with a bit of oomph and not too low a suspension! Communication with the owner was excellent with very fast response times. Can highly recommend.

Great Villa

We stayed in The Villa for 10 days and we really didn't want to leave. It was very well stocked, and a real bonus to have some essentials ready for us when we arrived. The pool was the best we've had for a long time clean and decent length. The villa was clean spacious and with some amazing views all the way to the coast. Our host was to notch and always answered quickly. There are lots of areas to relax in and outside, so even with 3 kids it was a chilled holiday. All round beautiful villa with great pool.

Urlaub auf dem Dach der Welt

Das Haus ist einfach ein Traum. So viele liebevolle Details und der Ausblick, der Pool lassen diesen Urlaub einfach unvergesslich werden. Abgesehen von der doch ziemlich abenteuerlichen Auffahrt war der komplette Aufenthalt einfach bombastisch. Man könnte sicherlich auch negative Sachen finden Aber gibt es das nicht überall. Ein Problem in Spanien ist die Wassernot. Auch Insekten sind nicht zu verachten. Dies alles ist aber zu vernachlässigen, bei diesem Aufenthalt in dem tollen Haus. Wir werden wiederkommen. Vielen Dank noch mal für alles

Paradies über Sayalonga

Wir haben unseren Urlaub im Haus von Marc und Pippa sehr genossen. Der Checkin war unkompliziert und Marc war rund um die Uhr telefonisch erreichbar. Beeindruckt hat uns auch das Willkommenspaket, das auf uns in der Küche gewartet hat. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und wir haben die kühlen Abende vor dem Kamin genossen. Der wunderschön angelegte Garten, der Poolbereich und die atemberaubende Aussicht sind ein Traum. Gerne möchten wir wieder nach Sayalonga zurückkommen.

Tolles Ferienhaus

Casa Los Picos ist ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus, das alle Erwartungen übertroffen hat. Schon bei der Ankunft beeindruckt die traumhafte Lage mit atemberaubendem Blick auf die umliegenden Berge und das Meer. Das Haus selbst ist äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem Komfort ausgestattet. Die geräumigen und lichtdurchfluteten Zimmer bieten viel Platz und sind mit liebevollen Details dekoriert, die eine gemütliche Atmosphäre schaffen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die voll ausgestattete Küche, die keine Wünsche offen lässt und zur Zubereitung köstlicher Mahlzeiten einlädt. Ein weiteres Highlight ist der großzügige Außenbereich mit einem wunderschönen Garten und den vielen verschiedenen Terrassen. Hier kann man wunderbar entspannen, grillen und die herrliche Natur genießen. Der Pool sorgt an heißen Tagen für eine willkommene Abkühlung und bietet einen tollen Ort zum Entspannen und Erholen. Der Service und die Gastfreundschaft der Gastgeber waren ebenfalls herausragend. Sie standen jederzeit für Fragen zur Verfügung. Insgesamt ist Casa Los Picos ein perfekter Ort für einen unvergesslichen Urlaub!

Wunderschönes Haus mit grandiosen Sonnenauf - und Untergängen

Das Haus bietet alles was das Herz begehrt und darüber hinaus. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter gestaltete sich immer sehr sympathisch und zugewandt . Der Weg zum Haus ist sicherlich gewöhnungsbedürftig und ich würde die Strecke nicht beim ersten Mal im Dunkeln fahren wollen ,ist aber machbar und die Lage sowie die Ausstattung des Hauses entschädigt für die Anfahrt alle mal.
